Copyright Bureaucracy

Generally as a rule of thumb the Mass Media seems to be outraged when there is a bureaucracy that protects the rights of the public at the expense of the corporations; but when the bureaucracy protects the profits of the corporations at the expense of the public they’re silent. This is what the copyright bureaucracy is doing; whether it is the government or the corporations implementing it. Of course whether it is copyrights or something else if they are trying to protect the profits of the corporations at the expense of the public they use an example that seems to make it seem like they’re doing the opposite; which means they will surely have some rare examples of rags to riches owner of copyrights; however the vast majority of copyrights are in the hands of the wealthy and even if they aren’t they have to deal with publishing and promotional companies in order to develop a reputation and add value to their copyrights; and these institutions are in the hands of the wealthy.....to read complete blog click here

While cutting the budget the Govornors are making little or no effort to cut the wasteinstead they're going after the cuts that actualy provide benifits for the public. this is a corporate Plutocracy. BEIJING – Google-backed Chinese video and music file-sharing firm Xunlei, once sued by six Hollywood studios for film piracy, hopes to raise $200 million in a U.S. initial public offering, hiring JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank to get ready.

The company, whose name is pronounced “shoon-lay,” will follow Chinese video-sharing firm Youku and e-commerce site Dangdang into the U.S. market, Bloomberg News said on Thursday, citing sources familiar with the IPO plans of the Shenzhen-based outfit.

Thanks for the info; this only strengthens what I was saying. They’re trying to make sure the most powerful and wealthy people have as strict control of a lot of educational material so that the majority can’t get unrestricted access to education in many cases. Fortunately there are other cases where there is a growing amount of educational material available from more sincere sources but this slows down the education process dramatically especially when the airways are being flooded with absurd volumes of propaganda.
