They just had another one...

What is the significance of this. Does the North Pole not get earthquakes normally? I thought that anywhere on the planet could suffer and earthquake but that just nearer the fault lines was more likely. Am I wrong in my thinking?

I thought the North Pole, true not magnetic, is ice over ocean.

With crust underneath. Question is was it 10 miles belowe the crust or 10 miles below the ice.

What impact would or did this earthquake have on the ice up there? Could it have cause fissures in the ice breaking it apart or loosening some of it?

no eye deer

The first earthquake was a 4.8, very near the North Pole.
The second was a 4.7 between Greenland and Norway.

I'm not sure how frequent earthquakes in this area are, but they're not unheard of. A 6.2 earthquake occurred in the North Pole region in 2009.

Its okay it was this 0.52 seconds in,
Hence the sinkholes...Ssssh a exciting assumption !

and to opp is there anyway of finding out if it was below the crust or ice?.

can you have and earthquake centerd in ice?.

Has anyone ever noticed that there is zero ariel images of the north poles center..or on google earth there is no zoom option it just a white blur...and i read that 97 percent of all satellites go from west to east of vise versa and the other 3 percnt are government own and restricted from the public.

I challenge anyone to find an ariel hd pic of the center of the north pole and i mean dead center i found this supposed leaked image from 67 kind of weird.

When I checked the recent earthquakes and couldn't find the dot on the map I thought it a bit strange. But it was just way up there, at the north pole. apparently doesn't happen very often.

Earthquakes represented are: M5.5+ 1900 - 2002 M3.5+ 1990-2008 US - lower 48 and Hawaii M4.5+ 1990-2009 Alaska

Just because you haven't seen a satellite image of the north pole doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Why not challenge yourself and find out these things for yourself?
