Indeed. The inmates have taken over the asylum. And it ain't pretty.

I think one of the most heart-rending things that military men face is that they/we are sworn by oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic." We know who the real enemy is: it's terrorists all right--the terrorists in our own damn country.

Oh, well.... Sold down the river to multinational criminal banker elitist scum. Five thousand years from now it'll hardly matter at all.

Thanks to the U.S. Patriot Act you don't have to worry about terrorists or anyone saying things the government doesn't like.

If the United States of America has leaders that are going down a corrupt path, thanks to the U.S. Constitution you have the right to overthrow the government you also have the right to protest in a peaceful manner. If you are doing such things and a police officer tries to arrest you unlawfully you have the right to defend yourself aswell.

they are not arresting you for protesting

or even for free speech.

they will arrest you for not having a permit
to public assembly.

You may have the right to defend yourself in that situation but you will NEVER find a judge who agrees with you. In addition the moment you begin to defend yourself the police officer will begin to defend HIMSELF and it becomes assault. That is a struggle you simply can not win in this climate.

any enemy TPTB tells them to fight.
that enemy changes during different eras.
what enemy TPTB have today
may not be the enemy tomorrow.

That doesn't sound like a "Global Force for Good" to me. I also don't know of any other Navy that calls themselves such.
