Another update for ya and everyone
www.bbc.co.uk...

Defenders in Ajdabiya are said to be in a high state of excitement

Rebels are excited? they dont sound like rebels anymore they almost sound like Mercenaries only Mercenaries show high state of excitement during combat, not rebels, most of the time rebels are disorganized and are easily beaten.

According to someone I spoke to by mobile phone in Brega a short time ago, fighting is still going on there, as Gaddafi's troops, more than 100 carloads of them, the eyewitness said, take control of the small airfield in the town, which is attached to an oil refinery.

like i said before the Mercenaries captured the oil areas Libya they thought Gaddafi would easily step down and let america take over the oil refineries i guess that kind of backed fire at them.

thanks for the link, very interesting.

Ghadaffi is now claiming he is not a leader and he doesnt really know whats going on, and his chanters are shouting he is thier leader.

some woman just shouted down a mic 'you have the sword of Allah, you cannot kneel before our enemies and we will not let you go'

To be honest im not really sure what is going on anymore, lots of conflicting information from different sources.

I just want to remind, that what is happening now - and in near future, is not what RT was saying and telling us - question is about news from bombing demonstrators in first days of violence, and continue later too... Situation now can be fullscale war, and all machines used - but that doesnt change the fact, that to fuel this situation to this breaking point, there is now hard claim from direct ĺies used in western media to mobilize our armies, and to collect support from western public.

No matter what happened after this possible new "Tonkin" - war still based on lies - and what we have in Libya now, it can also based just to total western lies.

We have to focus to truth. Situation moves on, but lies stays the same.

well that was a big mistake
since the CIA created Al CIAda
to begin with.

Maybe he should have read
ATS to find this out

Alots of amateur acting there i have to say i didn't see anything that would be a sign of a air bomb blast, pretty good actors they made the youtube commentators believe it.

no problem, im just wondering if there is anyone knowledgeable enough
to tell us what kind of plane that is

to me it looks like an SU-24 variable swept wing bomber
as I don't think Mirage F1's can drop dumb bombs.
Here is a comparison

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/e13a35eebe03.jpg[/atsimg]

the only difference I see between the 2 images
is the pilot has the wings swept back in
the CNN video screen grab while the wings
are swept forward in the still photo from wiki
on the right.

en.wikipedia.org...

Plus, not to mention the SU-24 is the only known
bomber that Libya has. And wiki says they
only have 2 of them.

thanks for that boondock, yes the 2 aircraft do look very very similair, i think its safe to say for me at least that yes libyan government has been bombing but maybe not on as large a scale as we are led to believe if they only have 2.

What is the maximum payload these planes can carry??

well clearly one of the wiki pages is wrong since the one about the plain said libya had 8, 6 are on the inventory and 1 destroyed in a fire

Libya 8 Su-24MK purchased for the Libyan Air Force, 6 still on inventory, one destroyed in fire.

dont really understand all the other armament info ha nvm

u r looking at a different aircraft or either
wiki has conflicting inventory numbers.

Sukhoi Su-24 Soviet Union Long range bomber Sukhoi Su-24MK 3 One lost in fire

this says they had 3 and 1 lost in fire.

The pilots that flew to Malta were flying
Mirage F1's --- fighter jets. They had cannons
and under-wing rocket cylinders but no
drop bombs.
