I am still unclear as to what this has to do with my responses. I believe I was very clear and specific about why I feel the way I do. Do you believe there is a different legal precedence system for Alabama than for other states?

Nothing personal here. Of course it does not mean fear of homosexuals. That is a ridiculous interpretation and you know it. For many homosexuals the reality of life is the other way around. They have had to fear straight people who would hurt them or even kill them. That is the reality.

A homo-phobe is someone who is "afraid" indeed of embracing the fact that some people are simply, naturally gay. They are afraid of the notion, or concept. Where does that fear come from? Well, you know the answer to that one because its been thrown in your face again and again on this website. A lot of the most vocal opponents are afraid of taking too close a look at their own sexuality. The fear comes from insecurity.

I don't doubt that for some homophobes the fear is in facing someone who dares to be outside the "norm". A lot of people are uncomfortable with those who don't follow the "rules". There are a million legitimate reasons to call some straight people; especially those who do a lot of protesting against gays, homophobes. Fear for safety in the presence of a gay man or woman is not likely one of them.

I fail to see much aversion or avoidance of the issue as applies to those who are termed 'homo-phobic'.

I also fail to see any evidence of fear. I see evidence of resistance to change, which is itself a natural human reaction. I see evidence of concern for results of an agenda which does not seem to match the tactics employed to attain it. I see evidence of disgust where disgust is obviously attempted.

Could you provide me with evidence that everyone opposing this 'gay agenda' is actually operating on fear?

I am Muslim and I think the gay movement is awesome, personally I would like to see more men go gay but less woman. The gay movement has really made getting a date a lot easier... the more gay men, means the more available woman...! : )

That's a pretty interesting statistic if true, because about 10% of mostly any certain species of animal are homosexual. (probably humans as well, even though they don't come out) So 10% of pedophiles/rapists etc are gay.. it kind of proves to me that being gay really has nothing to do with those other things.

Dont worry about it,to be here and enjoy it you have to grow somethicker skin. Homophobic remarks are always flying around here incertain members comments. You Just have to rise above it and show thier ignorance and bias. Knows there is religious fanatics in here, Wont matter if you argue with them until your bue in the face. They are stuck in thier religious views. Although they know about the disgusting incidents which have occured within thier religion. They still deny it.

See the double standards they hold. It does make one think to hrself. I am glad I am not part of that religion.

My friend told me about another friend who went home and told his father he was gay.
His dads reply was "well, have you been to the doctor"
I think homosexuality is wrong and you can call me any name you want, when I log out, I will still think the same.
But that dont mean that I would hurt a gay person or try to do anything bad to them.
But I wont shake their hand and I wont work with them.
Why?
Because im a mans man. You know, the type that got brought up fighting in the backyard with my bros and cousins.
I am not religious, I couldnt care less what the church has to say about it. All I know is that I love women and that I cant begin to understand how people can be gay.
