A new world order is going to emerge from the Middle East and North Africa through the efforts of the existing regional powers and the future generation of Arab governments, a senior Hezbollah official says.

Notice what this man did not say. He did not say this "new world order" was going to emerge because the people protested, and made it known they have had enough.

He says, "through the efforts of the existing regional powers, and the future generation of Arab governments".

Uhm, where did the people go? Has their movement been co-opted so easily? Oh wait. Here it is...

"The future is going to fulfill “all the historical wishes and hopes of the people in the region, he pointed out."

Sure it is. And they were asking for a new world order too. And I like the way they call these "pro democracy movements".

How about we call those movements what they were. The voice of a people screaming for freedom.

I wouldn't be so sure.

The upcoming generation of Iranians are tired of being under a theocratic regime. The Green Protests, though short-lived, shouted this loud and clear. The next few years will surely be interesting as more and more of these individuals come of age and become powerful in their own right.

I hope you're right. But when you have a dictator who, if memory serves, has said he is willing to sacrifice more than half of "his" peoples lives in a war. It wouldn't surprise me to see this guy start murdering dissenters.

This "new world" better include Westernized womans rights or you're not invited, Iran.

The governments that are taking shape right now in the liberated ME countries are NOT democracies!!

The people that are best able to complete a given task are the ones that are being appointed and held responsible for their posts. The people that were given jobs because of their status are fleeing, or taking a job that they are better suited for.

This, if you didn't know, is called a Meritocracy. The very protests themselves are Meritocratic, with the people all assigning themselves jobs and duties where they show talent and are able to make a worthwhile contribution.

Doesn't that sound so much better than being elected to a postion because of how much money you may have?

Lets hope that democracy fails in the ME. Otherwise Israel will pay for more puppet dictators to be elected. This to oppress their enemies and further destablize peace efforts.

It is true that the Governments of the World have had a hand in the protests. However, the effect that they have put in motion will backfire if they attempt their nasty little tricks.

People are getting sick of being treated like sheep. People are sick of being harvested for their time and labor.

Let those that would profit from the suffering of their fellow man show face, not cower like beaten dogs.

Let them anounce how they will continue to destroy what we call humanity so they can gain in wealth.

I would lead the assualt on such monsters, to see their influence cease on this Earth. I just need a handfull of brave citizens to watch my six.

Jews were not involved in the lower levels of power until centuries after hierachies and structures were placed in Europe. They were latecomers to the table. People at the top, e.g. royalty, nobility and clergy had slaughtered them for centuries.

The few Jews in the power structure are or were known as "Protected Jews" or Schutzjude. They have had a status as servi camerae regis (servants of the royal chamber) and served as court Jews for various imperial and royal courts.

The House of Rothschild is probably the best known example. They served at the behest of two Germanic imperial courts: Hanover and Habsburg.

As powerful as the few protected court Jews have been, they have never sat on the thrones of power based in Europe. They have been and still are subjects.
