After watching Alex Jones Beibler melt down rant, I googled this Beiber guy. I don't watch television so I had never heard of him before today, thank god.

The pop star’s locks were recently cut and have now been listed on auction website, eBay. The top bid currently stands at $7,200. The item will close on 2 March and so far 61 users have been interested in the unusual item.

61 users?!! 7k?!! Really? I'm guessing that out of those 61 bidders, 40-50 of them own plexiglas hair lock viewing boxes...

Ellen DeGeneres is selling the locks, after she received them as a gift following his appearance on her talk show. The locks are presented in a Plexiglas box which the ‘Baby’ singer has signed.

Oh, terrific, it already comes with a box. Now all it needs, one velour pedestal, one track light, one weirdo.

Justin decided that he would be changing his trademark hairstyle before he turned 17 next Tuesday. When he was ased why he wanted to get rid of his ‘The Bieber’ look, he commented that there was no big reason, he just woke up one day and thought that he didn’t want this look anymore. He said that, he just wanted to, and so he cut it.

Because of the ridiculous, pathetic obsession with celebrity and fame. :shk:
What a waste of energy and money.
I just hope the money goes to something useful, but it probably won't.

From what I've heard on the radio, the money is supposed to go to charity. If Ellen has anything to do with it, it probably will. That's a good thing.
