I find THIS poster to be shallow and pedantic.

You negative posters do realize that it's YOUR posts that keep bringing it to the top right? It's the top 5 threads on a forum that show up on the main page of ATS.

All that said, ya the video isn't great...the OP acknowledges that. What you negative posters aren't acknowledging is that he didn't come here saying OMG BEST PROOF EVER! He came and asked what could this be.

Well i believe he has nothing here and it is terrible acting. The video is terrible and lights could be reflections of the street lamp or anything, we will never no because it wasn't shown long. I still can't see how this thread is still here but the Temple one got hoaxed. Utter craziness.

OK..as this one is still dragging on (and on and on and on). Where are you in South London? I live in Catford, so I could pop in and take a daylight shot out of the window, or you can take a daylight shot out of the window and post it here. Or you can PM me with your address and I'll have a look through street view or you can take a screen dump of streetview and post it here. One way or another, the streetlight issue would then be resolved.

Yes and the Poker video was a hoax as well ! With an unshuffled and stacked deck, and the acting is no better in that one either !

All I wanted was some opinions on what the hovering light was, not the streetlamp I have said this before, all I know is that the light has never been there before neither has it come back, and I know what I felt that night. I just waned to gather some experiences and opinions.

Also, we werent acting in the poker video, and the deck is shuffled before every hand we play...?

And there was me thinking that serious card players liked to show off their shuffling technique !

Both lights (streetlamps or not streetlamps, it doesn't matter in fact) are in front of a solid foreground close structure, we can also see what looks like stairs:



It would be great if the OP could provide a daylight video/photo of the exact same place.

What your picture shows is indeed street lamps. But the object that few here can see that others cant is this below.

Both these screen shots are at 25 seconds in,so how come theres an object there in one of them and in same second its gone ??? And this object is there in other frames.

If anyone here cant see it says 25seconds for both pictures Im sure I can change format.

As you can see in my enhancement above, there is an obstacle (and what it appears to be stairs) between the cameraman and the lights.
Because of parallax, the far away lights are alternatively (either) hidden by this obstacle or visible.

The film wasnt filmed with a steady hand and somethings did get in view of the camera but the object is seen in more than 1 frame,the frame that you enhanced is clearly a frame that doesnt have the object in but something else,like a stairway.
