Given that the children were reciting it is the phoenetic pronounciation that is important and the teach admonished them to read it fast so "play-ing" read fast becomes "plane"..."steal" sounds like "steel" fast or slow. Not sure about "kite" except as slang for a flying instrument (esp WWI biplanes tho looked like box kites).
it is not a book but an exercise in a workbook called “Reading Mastery 2.” This much was sussed out last month by a resourceful blogger named Peter Smith after he studied the raw footage from the Emma E. Booker Elementary School. Noticing that the teacher repeatedly cued the class with the same precise language (“Get ready to read these words the fast way”), Smith guessed that some particular pedagogical theory was at work. That’s what led him to Direct Instruction, a controversial teaching model that Engelmann developed in the nineteen-sixties.

Well...considering the ACTUAL words are "kit" not "hit", "steal" not "steel" and "playing" not "plane"...I guess this is null and void?
I think this is someone stretching a biiiiit too far to make this conspiracy even more....conspiratorial (is that a word??).

It's not dubbed over, but the subtitles are incorrect.
Read the thread.

Don't yu suppose there is a chance it 'sounds' like 'hit' because there are subtitles gently persuading you to believe so?

I think, especially after seeing that shot of the words they were actually reading, there's just no reason to have the kids read anything specific or have anything to do with it. That to me just seems like paranoia. However, the reaction by Bush is still as suspicious as it's always been. That looks like a guy who fully expected to hear the message "America is under attack." I'd expect any reasonable person to turn around, say "WHAT" and demand some details.
Maybe he was just overcome with nausea, knowing exactly what had just happened

So the public was all focused on this at the time the hijackers took off in the planes were they. Or did the planes hit the WTC *before* Bush was told about it, meaning the public was all focused *after* it happened.
Anyhow, well done to the people who debunked this entirely within two pages of ATS. That's got to be some kind of record.

A very nice almost, but if we are going down the ritual route then I think the words would have to be a bit more specific rather than suggestible. This is more of coincedence that the lo def audio is producing. If this was recorded recently with better audio, we wouldn't hear the same things. It'd be a bit more obvious that the words have nothing to do with steel or planes.

What does Kite, Steel, and Plane have in common lol. These kids aren't learning aerospace engineering.
Therefore you look at an alternative:
One of the comments:
The REAL words stated: KITE, KIT (not hit), STEAL (to rob, not steel) , PLAYING (not Plane), & MUST.
Yes, IMO 9/11 was an inside job but please do not allow this kind of blatant misrepresentation to take away from the truth. DiNatalli, delete this lie if you didn't know but shame if you did make it!
Everyone, please take the time to research this so you know the facts
