MSM - they don't talk about much of anything that might involve something negative to corporations - so you can take it from there. This just might be related to messing with Mother Earth just as the fracking in Arkansas.

This is definitely an interesting event, the area to me looks like something blew up a few feet underground or as a member mentioned previously tilled land. I'm not sure about the methane angle but I thinks thats because I really don't want to think about how many other places are situated over large silent pockets of death. However if you notice the dead farm animals don't look crushed, bloody etc they look like they died in their sleep. I only heard mention of a 5 year old still missing so did no one die or are we just not getting word?

It was in Michigan, Upper Peninsula. There's a thread on ATS somewhere about it.

Forgive me if this has been answered already and I didn't see it...

Does anyone have a map of this fissure? Something showing the general direction and exact location?

I believe it's too early to ask for that, but I'm trying now.

Thanks! The direction/location will be a serious clue to the stress directions in that area, and those stress zones could shine some light on what forces are involved.

Wow, what a thing to happen. Hope the kid gets out okay. Wouldn't wish that on anybody, easily 100 times worse than a water well.

I would also like to know if there are any volcanoes in the area.

These people are definitely not Huacullaniting, this is very real.

I'm sorry but no chance to bring more details for now. INDECI (sort of FEMA in Peru), sent a group of scientists to study it. I sent them an email asking for more details, it may take a while (if they respond). If it's too late to add that info here, I'll U2U it.
