I honestly don't even know what top say here folks.

Although I don't condone the gal's actions (it was REALLY stupid to have kids present while this went down), but TEN YEARS for selling a miniscule amount of weed?

And here we have wall street banksters ripping off the tax-payer for BILLIONS on end, and war-criminals responsible for the murders of tens of thousands of innocent people, kidnapping and torture never serving a SINGLE DAY in prison.

Is it just me, or is something SERIOUSLY wrong with our "justice" system here?

I'm....just....speechless.

On Dec. 31, 2009, Spottedcrow and her mother, Delita Starr, 50, sold a “dime bag” of marijuana to a police informant at Starr's home in Kingfisher, court records state.

Starr handled the transaction and asked her 9-year-old grandson — Spottedcrow's son — for some dollar bills to make change for the $11 sale. Two weeks later, the same informant returned and bought $20 of marijuana from Spottedcrow.

The two women were arrested for drug distribution and because Spottedcrow's children were in the home, an additional charge of possession of a dangerous substance in the presence of a minor was added.

Especially ludicrous is the "possesion of a dangerous substance in the presence of a minor" charge. Since when is Pot dangerous?

Yeah, they were breaking the law.. but this is an overkill sentance.

This is the writing on the wall.

The little man will be ground up into corn beef, and those strong enough not to be consumed will walk hand in hand with the powers who attempt to destroy the human spirit.

What can we take from this? Well, dont sell illegal substances to anyone, or buy it for that matter.

We're on a slippery slope - dig in hard and play the game smart - We'll overcome this type of brutism eventually.

10 years is a ridiculous punishment for small time deals.

There are people down here in south Florida only getting 6 months to 2-3 years for selling crack out of their house with kids.

10 years for selling a couple nickel bags is just crazy.

I guess pot dealers are taking a que from lumber companies, where by for example 2"x4" isnt really 2x4 its 1 1/2 x 3 1/2... Now $10.00 worth is $11.00? What did the agent get for $20.00? Only $19.00 worth? (JK)
Double standard nation!!! How many times have dea agents been reprimanded or let go for a dirty drug screen? IDK for sure, but probably never. If drug screens are indeed performed, wouldnt there be some kind of public records, that we can review, reflecting payments made to labs that perform drug screens for the government?

Drug tests are not reliable and can be cheated, so I wouldn't trust those records even if they were available.

Yeah, I'm speechless about this story too. Just...Just...

Ther is something REALLY REALLY WRONG!

I had a semi truck and 48 ft trailer stolen. The guy ran it from Florida hauling produce ( & drugs) for a company I had a contract with to NYC (stolen car parts) I GAVE the DOT and cops lots of info (thanks to the guys former wife) on everything including his name, address, SS# picture, the address of his WAREHOUSE of stolen parts.... I FOUND the guy three times but the cops were "too busy to pick him up" and now, five years later he gets a F$#@ing suspended sentence of two whole months were he is walking free and calls a cop once in a while. This guy had a rap sheet as long as my arm including attempted murder.

There was absolutely NO attempt to follow up on the information and names I gave them despite the fact the truck had a system that tracked its movements and I had other documentation that would allow catching two corporations in the act of committing fraud. (Long story)

So here is a guy - Grand theft across state lines, fraud, drug courier, stolen car parts and he gets a slap on the wrist.

Yet a Mom who has done NO ONE any harm gets TEN YEARS???

And back at tens of thousands of cop's houses their kids are in the presence of or have potential access to a whole liquor cabinet full of dangerous alcohol, which is actually dangerous not just pretend dangerous.

If their kids consume some dangerous alcohol it will kill brain cells.
If they consume enough it will kill them.

If Spottedcrow's children consume some "dangerous" cannabis they could experience the "harmful" side effects of feeling euphoric, relaxed, creative, hungry (
) or sleepy.
It will be impossible for them to consume enough "dangerous" cannabis for it to cause any form of brain damage.
It will be impossible for them to consume enough "dangerous" cannabis for it to kill them.

People are going to prison and yet no crime has been committed, as there is no victim.

# the police.

Ya bankers steal every day, our politicians invade countries based off of lies, and thousands die, ton kin gulf Vietnam, Iraq, and no one does a single day in prison. But carry a bag of weed around and you get 10 years.

Dangerous substance around a minor? With that logic cigarettes, and alcohol would give you the same charge, actually worse of one, people actually die from those.

But the masses will look a this and then flip back to what Charlie Sheen is doing. Pathetic
