The U.S. Army illegally ordered a team of soldiers specializing in "psychological operations" to manipulate visiting American senators into providing more troops and funding for the war

It appears the man who gave the orders, Lt. Gen. William Caldwell only cares about advancing his career, and termed the whole thing Operation Fourth Star and is now digging up dirt on Lt. Colonel Michael Holmes, the officer who refused to carry out the operation.

U.S. PSYOP forces are forbidden to target (i.e., attempt to change their opinions) U.S. citizens at any time, in any location globally, or under any circumstances.[6] However, commanders may use PSYOP forces to provide public information to U.S. audiences during times of disaster or crisis

95% of the public has never heard the terminology "Psy-Ops".

They won't even know what it is, or means.

But if this goes front page MSM, the public will suddenly get a hint.

Now that is something to ponder. At least the majority argued against manipulation tactics (on Americans). But the fact that they are permitted to use psy-ops on the "enemy" but not on "Americans" is something to wonder about.
Why is it acceptable to try to change the thinking of some humans and not others? Hopefully this brings attention to what else the military has been up to lately.

Maybe this guy is still running IO's on us? (Information Operations).

What if they "want" us to "think" that they don't typically run these operations on Americans.

But in reality, we are almost certain they do it on us all the time.
It's even apparently widespread.

9/11, 7/7, Madrid and Moscow Bombings, Mumbai and Arizona shootings and many more were psychological operations (psyops). Faked events (sold to the public by a complicit media) with few if any victims, perpeptrated to instill fear in the populis and justify future actions according to a pre-set agenda.
This is why the whole topic of media complicity and fakery is so taboo. They are the conduit through which all these lies are sieved and distributed. Exposure of these facts would bring the house of cards crumbling down.

No doubt in my mind that American citizens are the target of psyops of some sort. However, I am still on the fence that what they are doing, which appears to be remote viewing, is even effective.

Not trying to single anyone out here, but this happens frequently in threads and happens more lately than I remember when I first began checking ATS a few years ago: Why do people post a reply to a topic, only to say "I'll have to think about this, Dont know what to say yet, So ill post on it later"…(And so on, and so forth)? How many of members' posts are stuff like this; contributing Zilch to the topic & usually just taking up screen space on the first page of replies… Is it to get higher or more ratings for the numbers under ppl's names, the W S K #s?
I think the system of ratings and stars and flags is weird and not entirely conducive to the community goal. But then again, I know (i assume) much thought is put into the running of ATS boards and if a better way existed, itd probably be that which I was questioning, here, instead.... Ha LoL if that makes sense in a way.

Why would, of all people, John McCain need to be manipulated into funding the war/military/counter terror ops?

Other Senators listed are some of the most corrupt in Washington .. I highly doubt any of them needed telling more than once the Military wants more money.

This story highlights proof positive that President Hussein Obama wants us to be “MORE” involved in Iraq instead of less. He is commander in chief of the military. If the Army is performing ops on senators to get more support for the war in Iraq then it is because Obama ordered them too.

Obama will never get us out of Iraq; he is nothing but a liar and a fraud. He wants us more involved in Iraq and Afghanistan, not less.

It has the effect of making our congressmen look stupid to people. I've heard that from people talking about it already. Because of that, it makes me wonder...and the military was also (the AF) trying to get the technology from HBGARY for the sockpuppets.

Does the military have a life of it's own and are our generals and defense dept heads getting way too ambitious?

I only have more questions. What happens when everything gets confused?

There are plenty of known pills/chemicals which can change people's emotions or reasoning skills. Who is to say these operations don't use these?

If you haven't watched the film "Men Who Stare At Goats" you might want to pick that movie up and watch it... Sure it's done as a comedy but like the caption says at the beginning of the film, "A lot more of this is true..." something something I can't recall exactly..

But what I find odd, is that people either disbelieve it because it doesn't fit into their belief systems at all even if the mainstream media were to pick it up, it'd read like one of those ghost hunter shows..

There is a lot more going on on this tiny planet we call home than we would like to believe...
