I have posted this on various threads, but I really want feedback on it, so I gave it it's own thread.

"On the 31st of January, 2011, around 5 PM, I had a strange waking dream. This makes my whole story immediately seem very folly, but it seems real enough to me.

"In the dream, I was riding in the back seat of a large unmarked white van with two adults in the front seats and five or six other children/teenagers in the other seats. All of us (the children) were holding our arms, as the adults had taken blood or given us shots (I can't remember which, but I think it was a sedative) before we had been loaded into the van. We drove away from where they had given us the shots, and maybe an hour or two later, we were driving along a slightly raised road between fields.

"The skies were clear, and it was night throughout the entire dream. Off to the right, just as I was dozing off, I saw a huge black cloud, maybe half a mile away, just over a farmhouse or a siloh or something. The cloud caught my attention because it had a strange red glow sinking through the middle of it. I would have thought that it was a jet plane that had caught fire and was falling, but there was no sound until a few seconds after the fireball hit the ground. I took off my seatbelt and told the driver to stop, but she (I'm pretty sure it was a she... there was one adult woman and one adult man) only swerved the car and sort of jumped at the sound.

"I don't remember getting out of the van, but the next thing I remember was standing on the road, with the van flipped on its side about 50 feet down the road. My eyes were fixed on the explosion the whole time, and I only saw the van again later, when the rest of the people were running away from it.

"I watched where the cloud had crashed, and a metal disc flew from inside the inferno off towards the road. It went behind a group of trees for a moment, and when I saw it coming down the road again, there were cars flipping under it. It was as if the disc was kept off of the ground by a powerfull rush of air, and these cars had been caught up in it and were being pushed around just ahead of the craft. The craft and the cars (the disc was maybe the size of a small car) went past me on the road for about 200 feet and then the craft hit one of the flipping cars and crashed. This was about when I looked back at the van, where the adults were trying to corral the kids away from the crash.

"When I looked back at the disc, It had opened (or been broken open) and there were three beings. One of them was pulling themselves out of the craft away from me, so I didn't see them very well. The other two had climbed up and towards the right. They looked about 5-6 feet tall and wore yellow suits. They were greyish (none of the colors I describe should be taken too literally, as it was dark and the fire from across the field was probably doing strange things to the lighting) and had yellow-ish orange, wrap-around "eyes", like a fly. I put "eyes" in quotations because one of their "eyes" looked like it had been cracked open and was partially missing. I'm thinking the "eyes" were some kind of goggle.

"Anyways, I saw the two beings look over at where the fireball had crashed, and so I looked where they were looking. There were at least three black helicopters flying around the smoke, and two others flying towards us with searchlights on. I heard the two things run or crawl away (it sounded like for than four feet moving around on the metal of the disc) and I ran up to the craft to see if the other being was still there. While I was running, I kept saying a name. I can't remember what it was, but I'm positive it was a name.

"Before I got to the craft, I heard footsteps behind me and two SWAT-looking guys pushed me aside. One of them circled the craft, the other picked up the remaining being and started walking back down the road where one of the helicopters was hovering. The other guy slipped a harness over the craft and the other helicopter came to life it away.

"As the man with the being over his shoulder walked past, I looked at the thing's eyes. I suddenly felt like I needed to help him, so I grabbed on to the man's arm and told him that what he was doing was wrong. He didn't respond, so I ket tugging and yelling. I think he knocked me out or something, because the next thing I remember was laying down on the road.

"It was still night, and I could see flashlights and people ofer where the cloud had crashed. The cars and the van were gone, along with the craft and everyone who was there but me. Then, from the direction from where the van had been driving, another craft came. But this was a different looking thing. The shape was smoother. The earlier disc looked like a peice of crap compared to this.

"Again, the craft went past me, this time landing silently and gently 30 feet away. This craft was bigger, and harder to see, like it was made of a mirror I couldn't quite get my eyes to focus on it. Again, three beings came out. They were taller than the other ones, and didn't wear suits They looked a lot like the blue guys you're talking about. They "thought" to me and asked me what had happened. I told them.

"When I was done, the started getting back on the craft. I said the name again and they stopped. They looked at me and at eachother for a while. I said the name again and one more being came out of the disc. This one was about four feet tall, blue-gray, and wore a blue and silver suit. He walked right up to me and I was taken aback. He had a squareish jaw and human looking hands. His eyes weren't the solid black like the others, but a deep blue. He looked oddly like... me. It was really strange.

"It was like a whole lifetime of... something, was caught somewhere in the back of my mind and this... kid... was somehow behind it. He blinked, and he seemed to be asking me what I wanted. I didn't really know what I wanted, so I just offered my hand to him to shake. He looked at my hand for a while, and then very cautiously touched the palm of my hand with his fingers. As soon as he touched my skin he pulled away, as if I had shocked him or something. He pushed the palm of his hand on my forehead and I was on the ground again.

"The last bit of him I remember was laying on the road and having him wave his hand over my hip, kinda like he was a pickpocket trying to steal my wallet without waking me up. Before he could steal anything or finish whatever it was that he was doing, there was another explosion from where the cloud had landed who-knows-how-long before. All four of the being immediately got back into their craft and were gone.
I ran after them for as long as I could, even though I couldn't see them anymore, and I finally woke up from this dream or whatever right after a black helicopter shined it's searchlight on me.

"Nutty, huh? I'm not saying that this wasn't just a dream... but I find it interesting that I had this dream three days after a military base just south of my house had an emergency lockdown and a whole bunch of people saw UFOs. I didn't learn about any of this until a few days after I had the dream.

"That's it. What do you think? Am I nuts?"

I have had several similar dreams since this, but none as long or as involved.

I tried to recreate the face of the small blue alien on my avatar. I didn't do a very good job, but I'm hoping that someone will have seen something like it.

Also, the UFOs that were seen near me on the 28th have supposedly been proven to be fake.

I know that someone's is going to ask me about my background, so here it is. I was raised LDS, but I have not considered myself a member of the church for over five years. I have never taken any sort of illegal drugs, nor have I ever had alchohol.

I have had an account on ATS for a while, but I haven't been on here in years. I was originally interested in cryptozoology, archaeology and religious stuff. I came back to ATS after I had this dream.

I have had strange markings on me on and off throughout my life, along with migraines and constant, ridiculously low blood sugar. A few years ago, I removed a small black sphere from my eyebrow. I assumed it was a pebble or something from when I had lived near a dirt road (perhaps I had tripped). I gave it to a doctor to look at and they lost it before they could find out more.

I would appreciate your opinion on my situation. Thank you for reading.

Thanks for posting your experience. Have you ever read 'The Threat' by David Jacobs? He covers the abduction phenomenon. Here is an except about screen memories.

Third, to render memory recall more difficult, the aliens cloud what memory the abductee
has by injecting confusing and "false" memories into his mind. For example, if the person
is abducted from bed, he might remember an unusually vivid and realistic "dream." Other
abductions might produce "screen" memories of animals staring at the abductee—owls,
deer, monkeys, racoons. An abductee might think he saw an "angel," a "devil," or a
deceased relative standing by his bed. Society provides a menu of explanations, and the
abductees pick and choose depending on their background and culture.

Secrecy extends to the physical aspect of the abduction, and "cloaking" the removal of an
abductee is an integral part of it. When a person is abducted from his normal
environment, he reports that he floated directly out of a closed window, or through the
wall, or through the ceiling and roof and up into a waiting UFO. Yet people on the
outside rarely see this because the aliens somehow render themselves, the abductees, and
the UFO "unseeable" during this time.

Abductions often take place from automobiles, and the aliens institute secrecy in this
situation as well. When a person is driving, the aliens cause the car to stop so that the
abductee can walk to a UFO waiting by the side of the road (sometimes the abductee
floats directly through the windshield). Typically, the aliens wait until there are no other
cars on the road, or they compel the abductee to drive down a deserted road and wait for
the abduction. Often, the aliens take the car with the abductee,

That's what it sounds like you have, screen memories of events that took place. The greys use the 'staring method' its where they look into your eyes and create screen memories so you wont remember what really happened.

You should try taking up meditation as it may help you lift the veil that has been placed on your mind or find a competent therapist that can put you under hypnosis.

Thank you. I'll check it out. That's interesting, that seeing loved ones at your bedside is a supposed sign. People in my house have complained of that sort of thing for decades.

The book also mentions that families get abducted too, usually generationally. Has anyone else in your family been able to recount an abduction experience or a screen memory that might point to one?

Not that I know of. I'm not sure how to bring it up at the family reunion.
A few of us are idiot-savants, so I did a bit of research. In quite a few cases, our conception dates line up with UFO sightings and abductions in the area. I guess we're all pretty screwed.

You might want to read up on the David Jacobs-Emma Woods case.

I read up until it started getting too legal in the last two or three paragraphs.

The power of suggestion is a lot of why I haven't tried a hypno-therapist, and why I wrote down my dream before doing any research.

Both my sister and my grandmother have BPD and have problems in distinguishing dreams from reality. It's very possible that this is all in my head, but I personally have never had issues with this kind of thing before.

Thanks for your input.

I just checked out that link and all I can say is, "Holy crap!" I read one of Jacobs books about abductions which gave transcripts of hypnosis sessions and while the stories were interesting I always felt he asked leading questions. And I've often wondered about the legitimacy of using hypnosis to recover hidden memories and that it might in fact be that hypno-therapists are implanting false memories in to "abductees." The fact that he tried to place a screen memory in his patient to prevent the aliens from reading her mind is nuts. The fact that he basically implanted the idea that she had multiple-personality disorder is double-nuts.

I'm not saying you shouldn't see a hypno-therapist but be very very careful, do your homework, and insist on it being recorded and maybe have someone in the room with you.

So pretty much see a hypno-therapist who doesn't believe in aliens.

I've always thought that hypno-therapy was a bit far-fetched. Maybe if you give me an extensive biography of the therapist and their family and they seem legit, then I might consider it.

Betty and Barney Hill's therapist didn't believe in aliens but they ended up leaving therapy with concrete memories of alien abductions. They might have been abducted. But it's also possible that a dream and obsession of Betty's became solidified into conscious memories in both of them because of hypnosis. I think it's interesting that Barney always had doubt that it actually happened.

I find hypnosis interesting but I think it can be dangerous. I'd be interested in hearing the outcome if you choose to go that route. But I hear it can be expensive and for some people somewhat addictive.

I hadn't heard that Betty Hill thought of aliens before her incident. Where did you hear that? I'd love more info.

I read it in the book Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience. The book has some good information although it's a little long winded and repetitive in parts. It was written by Stanton T. Friedman and co-authored by Kathleen Marden, Betty Hill's niece. It is also available in a digital version if you have a Kindle or a device with Kindle software.

I'm on the fence about their case but here are a few of the things from the book which raise my suspicion. The book states that Betty Hill had been talking with a relative about UFOs prior to their trip where the experience occurred. It says that she was pointing at the light in the sky and suggesting to Barney that it might be a UFO before they had any real reason to suspect that it was (I assume this information was gleaned from the hypnosis transcripts). They went in for hypnosis to determine what had happened during the lost time on their trip so they needed a story to fill this time. She had a reoccurring dream of being taken from their car and into the woods by small men prior to going in for hypnosis. The abduction event she ended up relating under hypnosis starts very much like the dream although the description of the small men changed under hypnosis. It also states that Barney never fully accepted the event happened.

It would be interesting to read or listen to the actual hypnosis sessions but I don't think they've been released.

I'll take a look.

Walking into the forest seems to happen a lot in typical abduction stories, that and being taken out of bed. I can understand not wanting to be seen, but who in their right mind lands their ship in the middle of a forest?
