There are millions of patnts that never get built - a patent just means someone has an idea. We know the idea of spraying stuff into the atmosphere to alter global warming exists - there's wiki pages on it - that's not a secret.

It's just the same question that applies to chemtrails in general - yes we know the idea exists - is there any evidence it is actually happening?

A method is described for reducing atmospheric or global warming resulting from the presence of heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere, i.e., from the greenhouse effect. Such gases are relatively transparent to sunshine, but absorb strongly the long-wavelength infrared radiation released by the earth. The method incudes the step of seeding the layer of heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere with particles of materials characterized by wavelength-dependent emissivity. Such materials include Welsbach materials and the oxides of metals which have high emissivity (and thus low reflectivities) in the visible and 8-12 micron infrared wavelength regions.

Come now....you're talking about clandestine weather modification at the least, and chemical warfare at the worst. Chemtrails, right? That's the crime.

No one I've seen is denying the evidence that the technology exists, or that the DoD, military and various alphabet soup intelligence agencies would like to control the weather (the perps).

I assume they have been testing, and have gone into production; and I'm betting the other lads you're arguing with assume otherwise; but we'd all like to see some proof for either of our positions, capiche? No argument from me there. But voila, you just proved their point.

Chemtrails are contrails.

They have increased exponentially over the years.

If the volume of exhaust is so serious that it blocks the sun and effects temperature, then THAT is something to get upset about, because that is a real phenomenon that can be proven, but you might want to start calling them contrails.
