If you think this is *really* the case, here's an example of what extremes that some *corporations & governments* go to in order to get their own way
through the power of public opinion & public outrage:
Say for example that you're one of the board controlling a company with really fat contracts to build weapons for the military...But those darn
*peaceful* protesters are ruining the public opinion of your public support for the war. Ok, so you hire a group of people (under the table so you're
own involvement doesn't get discovered) to stage an anti-war protest; Don't fool yourself here...There *are* groups that exist *specifically* for
the purpose of making money by hiring themselves out for this kind of "game". These "hired" protesters are known for being a bit too rowdy &
sometimes even getting violent...The story winds up on the news. More public opinion turns the way *you* wanted it to go (the media & those who saw
the broadcast dont' even know any better) & that forces the administration to crack down on protests more strongly. The next thing you know, protests
at *all* have disappeared or taken a serious decline...You keep on selling weapons (& putting bigger bulges in your pockets) to the military because
the duped public into supporting the war that *you* wanted to continue. You've effectively changed the minds of millions of people by playing this
"game".
Let's not be foolish here...This sort of "game" can be done & *has* been done numerous times in the past...Hitler played this game too & we all
know how effective he was at this game. And there's no reason why this "game" doesn't continue to be played even today, on all levels of religion,
politics, economics or by any other group that seeks to change public opinion for any reason!
