A place to practice linking and embedding

Let me just say thank you for this thread. I have often wished I had a dummy thread to mess around with that stuff in to make sure I get it right but I knew I could not take up ATS space with my personal scrap sheet. This is nice to have around.

Yay!!!! You did it! I can do it now too. Its a cinch actually. Still waiting for some info on embedding maps though

Before I start my practicing, I just wanted to state a youtube-embedding problem, that I occasionally come across. Sometimes I will get the empty gray video box (

need another practice area.


Bold first, then size (size codes on outside)

with quotes

and finally with no parenthesis or any punctuation

they all work, in preview, but a minute ago I tried it in another thread where it worked in preview but not in the post. so lets see

Ok. I dont understand this now. 1st post, the quoted statement came out bold but had [ s i z e = 4 ] [ / s i z e ] visibly written. Then after the edit, it worked......hmm
