If you quote my post you can see the changes I made. In the bbs code [] I removed the [ img ] and replaced it with [ ats=300x300 ] and ended it with [ /ats ]

For example. Your code was -

eta: Just to clarify. the 300x300 is used to resize a picture. Obviously the higher the number the bigger the picture.

When I first joined ATS a few years ago, I had no problem embedding video's and images into a post, but now I am struggling to successfully do this, it infuriates me.

Has something changed? Why could I embed easily a couple of years ago but now I can't do it?

I hear you! I consider myself a neanderthal newbie. I have looked all over these help threads (This one seems to be the most helpful. Thanks ATS members )

But I am still experiancing problems in trying to post a link from the Short Story forum into my signature using the story title itself.

I've spent the past hour and some trying the various methods and am getting nowhere. Did I miss something in the replies here?

open your thread and copy the URL

Go up and click on tools

click on Account..

Paste the URL down where it says Signature..
