Ok I decided to post this here as this topic seems to have people who are familiar with similar experiences. I have been very skeptical about posting this, but these experiences are real and I am not sure what they are. Keeping an open mind I only put it in UFO area as people in this forum seem to be more familiar with similar things.

The first time I experienced anything was when I was at my cousines wedding in Detroit (I live in the UK near London) and the best way to describe it was that I felt as if I was being watched by a ghost whilst I slept and felt very uncomfortable like something was trying to get into my head/mind. I was very worried to open my eyes and see whatever was there , but when I did nothing was there at all. I felt very confused about this experience and was not comfortable at all.

Anyway I didnt think anything of this as it was just that one time, but back in the UK I started getting increasingly strong similar sensations. This is always at night after 1am when I am near to falling asleep. These were different, as if something is accessing my mind is how I would describe it and then I get physical effects too such as discomfort in my brain, even building to pain and it always starts of small and builds to an intensity where I feel something will definately happen. I strongly feel that if I do not resist it that it will progress to a pont where I wont be able to fight it anymore. At these times I feel very worried and really do not want to submit, despite wanting to know whats going on. This happened at first when I was living in a busy hotel for a while, but I also experience this when sleeping beside my girlfriend who I havent told for fear that I cant properley explain it and how worried I am about it.

To resist it I try avoid sleeping at night, staying awake and active when usually I would try and fall asleep. This never happens in the day/morning once the sun begins to rise. If I have some something on like a film on or any simuli that helps, loud music will totally stop this experience if I am very desperate (I often sleep with my mp3 player in my ears and even tho its harder to sleep it stops this experience) Without any of these when I start to get these feelings to help I start think about something else, anything else. As soon as I focus on the sensation thats when it gets much more intense (its very hard to not think of something when you get told not to think about it, but I just need to keep disrupting the process as much as possible to stop it increasing in intensity I. put every ounce of concentration on a specific memory or thought and explain to myself all the details, giving myself no time to think about what ever else is trying to access your conciousness. Recently I started specifically thinking about a film I was earlier watching and it helped when I kept replaying this over and over.

I don't know what it could be and am open to anything as I have never experienced anything like this. Recently I considered submitting to it to see what happens, but Im very scared to do so because the intensity implies that some extreme might happen. Can anyone suggest what this might be leading to or might be or possibly what I should do???

I have no idea what this is to do with and the only similar things seem to involve other dimentional beings or It sounds similar to how people describe alien greys as reading your mind and others have suggested that EMF's used to engage our subconciousness could be to blame. Until this happened I never looking into sites like this or ufo's etc. I happened to come accross the Brazilian mutilation case once I was back in the UK as well as footage of the tether incident in space, which that led me to be a bit more curious about UFO's, but i've never beleieved much in anything like that. I thought it was odd that I suddenly was interested in them when I never have bothered about this sort of thing.

I don't know what it could be and am open to anything, I really just want to know what is happening to me, especially if it could possibly be something natural occuring that would really put me at ease, but it just feels like something is getting into my head. even if it was some kind of subliminal messaging I wouldnt mind so much since I am aware of it happening, it would be nice to not have to worry about sleeping/being up all night when it occurs and submiting to it would be a lot more convenient, but the more sinister similar things I have read worry me, as well as my instinct to resist it.

Any help or info no matter how minor would be massively appreciated thank you

I've been through the same stuff. You have to let go of fear, like all your fears. Fear is a vibration that malevolent entities feed on, parasites so to speak as the above poster mentioned. There are strange things happening to people like you and many of us, you aren't alone and you probably aren't crazy when it comes to this stuff.
Do research on it, check out some of David Icke's stuff, not saying they are reptilians, just saying he explains the dimensional barriers well. Speaking about beings that exist just beyond our visible spectrum range.

Thanks I am very greatfull for the feedback. I dont know what to believe, but I feel that by thinking or concentrating on other things that I am stopping myself from feeling fear as I am thinking about something completely different.

I'm open to trying anything and am not jumping to this as a conclusions yet, but from what you have experienced if this is what im experiencing what should I do? Abandon fear and continue to resist? I just really want to know exactley what I should do.

Thanks

Next time this happens, try to imagine something or someone you love very dearly. If it feeds on fear and negativity then love and kindness should drive it away.

I don't know if this is a wise idea (as I know absolutely nothing about this subject) but maybe you could try to confront it and tell it to go away, but doing so in a positive manner.

Also, since you are a member on ATS, perhaps you could set up a video camera to watch you when you sleep. The next morning you could replay it to see if something shows up. If it does then you could possibly upload it here so the more astute members can comment on what they think it is. Which may help you find a way to deal with it.

I'm sorry to hear that you are being troubled. Perhaps taking up meditation will help a lil bit? Stay strong and keep a positive attitude and I think you can beat it.

Thanks for the replies, reading on that link it actually falls into place very well. It says creative minded people are much more likely to be attacked in this way and I am actually a very active guitarist and singer/songwriter.

I have been worried that submitting to this will leave me physically vulnerable and I wouldn't want to freak out my girlfriend if anything bizare were to occur. Resisting is unpleasent, but loosing sleep at the moment seems to be better than risking whatever might happen, although if I could confront whatever it is so it goes away I would like that a lot.

Interestingly each night that this happenes and I resist I always have at least another night or two free from these experiences so its as if im being tested to see if I will sucomb to it. I'd like as much advice as possible so keep it coming. I am really greatfull for everyone comments and actually expected much more ridicule despite saying im not sure what this is.

I went through the same paranoia and insomnia for several months on and off back in 2008-2009. I was basically attacked by whatever these things are. The attacks haulted when I stopped being afraid of them, these things can literally pull 'you' out of your body when your connection is weak, usually caused by fear or a bad diet. The crap they put in the water and food calcifies your pineal gland which they say is your spiritual connection to your spirit energy body that inhabits our bodies.
I happen to believe this may be true based on personal experiences.

Have you had any experiences seeing things with your eyes closed? Have you experienced paralysis or hearing any voices/noises when you are in that 'tween place' in between awake & asleep? That tween place is where you can consciously remember this astral dimension they say, many people hear voices and see things there through their pineal, or 3rd eye. Human eyes can only perceive the visible light spectrum, our 3rd eye can see past that fire wall.

Get yourself grounded in confidence and love of self. Know you are brave, don't just believe it. Nothing is more powerful than consciousness, placebo experiments have pretty much proven that to be true. Negativity and self hate/anger is a low vibration and they are magnetically drawn to it. People are getting fed on by parasites they can't see all the time, internal and external. Believe in yourself and that you can beat them, because you can.

Find a way to communicate with it. It could be that it needs your help with something or has a message for you of somekind, hence it has attached itself to you for that reason.

Would you mind explaining the similar experiences that you have had? If you don't want to on here if you PM me that would be ok and I wont mention it anywhere else. I want to know as much as possible to make sure I don't do anything that could cause further negative effects on me. Also would this happen when you have a lot of negativity in your life of not? I have been in a much better place in my life since this began (although it has caused me to experience some personal hardship) so it makes me wonder what negativity it would feed of because a year or so before this my life was chaos and I would have thought that this would have been the time that this would be more likely to happen as oppose to now?

I was coming out of a long rut in my life when the attacks started happening. My life was finally turning around for the better, but it seemed like my parasite(s) didn't want to let me go. I was producing lots of negative energy for them, I was a regular gas station they could fuel up at whenever they want, and it use to drain me.
I was having some good luck and happier times when I started "seeing" these things. I was in between awake & asleep this one day, TV was on and I was in bed, when this came running at me thru my kitchen -

It looked about 95% similar to it, when I came across Stargate Atlantis and saw these guys on there, I almost pooped myself, literally. I called them the green vampires, SG calls them wraith.

Other times when I was about to fall asleep, I saw these grey and black condensed smoke clouds in my house coming into the bedroom and paralyzing me. Sometimes I could feel pressure on my body as they hovered over me, and one time I heard what sounded like an 'evil exhale'.... looked almost like this -

I don't know if any of this helps, sounds fantastical to me now that I go back over it on here, but I'm not afraid or ashamed of what I went thru, sucks to be me sometimes, and I could care less if I get ridiculed for it. Doesn't bother me, and shouldn't bother you too. We are all unique and so are our personal experiences sometimes, no shame in any of that.

Thanks this definately makes me feel like I should just keep resisting the way I have been. Im sure if this is what it is they wont be able to get anything from me and therefore it will be pointless in trying to another time.

Its weird reading that because I am at the moment going through a transitional period where im turning my life around and I am definately much healthier as well, although I should probably get back to the gym like I used to.

I normaly would be open about it however I am hoping to make it as an artist in the music industry and am also doing a degree in Business for the music industry and it is an industry where there is a lot of drug use where everyone seems to know everyone. Because of this I don't want people to get talking about me having these experiences as im sure most people will think im going mad or using drugs despite the fact that I rarely drink anymore. Its a shame we feel unable to talk about these things in the public but thats how people are.

Just wondering as well if you know how this is localised? For example might my girlfriend experience something similar when im sleeping by her when I get these experiences? Maybe other people have the same thing, but cant explain it or are too worried to.

You have been very helpfull thank you. Just knowing something similar happens to others and being able to discuss it is a massive relief for me. Also if anyone believes that resisting these experiences if not the right thing to do to stop them please let me know as im hoping that these will finally stop soon.

Well don't rule out EMFs and any type of high pitch tones coming from man made sources too. I have read about their ideas to broadcast "soothing" freq out of some of these towers, and who knows what is coming thru the TV we can't hear. I don't trust anything coming from these big corporations with government connections. More intrusive surveillance and unnecessary security at the loss of our free will choice is all coming from sources I could never trust.

Either way, something is messing with people. Our individual brain broadcasts at a specific frequency that I'd imagine is hard to be hacked into, but who knows what the gov't can do with tech at least 30-40yrs ahead of what we know. The theory of frequencies trying to hack into your head isn't that far fetched, and neither is inter-dimensional parasites feeding off of your magnetic vibration. Spiders respond to vibrations and I've always feared them, which seemed to make them more attracted to me, webbing down in front of my face when I'm driving or in the shower. When I stopped fearing them, I stopped seeing them.

Hi there,

Yeah I've had this on and off for a decade, worst was when I was into the occult, drugs, conspiracies, etc, etc. I'm not blaming any of those at all though, because I think it's your mental state and the way you are psychologically that determines how this plays out, and I was a huge mess back then. So really it's going to be different for everyone that experiences it.

So yeah, I had the sensations, feelings around my brain, head area, and still do from time to time, but I no longer really worry about it, because psychologically I'm a lot better than I used to be.

What it comes down to though as far as I can tell is simply fear, like has already been said. If I feel it around my head now I just basically tell it to f*** off or try communicating depending on how tired I am. I still have no idea what it is, but would guess it's either : some type of neurosis, spirit, demon, alien, whatever you want to call it.

The absolute main thing though is to not be scared of it, because fear gives it access. I also used to wait until daylight before I could sleep, reminded me of some bad times from years back reading your post about that bit!

And yeah, I've given it access and still do if I feel like it at the time. As long as I don't fear I've generally been ok. I'm not saying this is right or wrong, just that I have done and still do every now and then because I don't know what it is, and I like to try and learn what's happening. This could be a key thing when it comes to things like Shamans having allies though. They could simply be types of this phenomenon. Your mental state is key when doing this though, and equally : a realisation that when it truly comes down to it none of us are actually separate. We're all using the same source energy but separated by who we are as beings and where we are in our lives, mental states, vibrational states, etc. To put it easily : in a game, the characters mostly look different, seem different as characters and do different things, but it's still the same code, on the same game, same machine, same power source, etc. One way to look at it is yin and yang. You're using yang energy to try and stay positive, but at somepoint you need the yin. So you should stop fearing it and make your own source of that energy, which you can do by resting, calming down, etc.

Try not to see what it is as dark and yourself as light because that will probably just create duality and more friction, and finally that on some level in your mind you also have parts of yourself that might operate on the same levels as whatever this is. People always talk about higher selves, but there's other parts. So you can fight fire with fire in a way, by taking control of that energy and realising that you can also operate on that level, but without any fear of being controlled, etc, as long as you're still in touch with who you are and you eventually move back to your normal state. Our programmed concepts of duality, light vs dark, good vs evil, spiritual vs material, human vs alien, etc, are probably to blame for these problems in the first place.

I could talk for ages about this, but to finish : the things that have helped me the most are being healthier, balancing yin and yang energies and meditating, so maybe reading up on some taoist/buddhist concepts and learning a bit of that area might help you a lot. I dropped the occult, drugs and conspiracy theories back when I was a mess, (but I'm still not blaming them at all.) but stuck with meditating and trying to get healthier. Also reading some psychology (Jung and his archetype/collective unconscious theories might answer a lot of this too).

Remember not to fear and think of balance basically, this is the key part I'd tell you if I could sum it up in one sentence. Hope you find a way of dealing with it better, and I'm sure you will, even if it takes a little time.

This is a great thread! I can totally relate to all of you. I have on multiple occasions awoken to feel something on my back. Every time I literally flip out of bed and see a large spider, talking 3' long, either crawl up the wall and disapear or crawl under a pile of clothing. Very vivid. I have felt the squirming/pulsating in my head for years now, and yes being positive is of the utmost importance to not let this get intense. Try to cut out all the extraneous noise that can drag you down, i.e. negative music, people, places, pointless tv...Crucial to staying positive. Just going for a walk or drive helps much.

I see some advice on here that I would not consider very good advice at all.. I think, as a general rule, one should note how many very different bits of advice one receives on a forum like this one and react accordingly.

I had something happen to me that was very like what you describe. I haven't written about it yet, but maybe I will since I've read your account.

Here's what we have in common -- I was at that time a musician, singer/songwriter.

I don't think this is by accident.

Here's a blog post I wrote that is tangentially connected:

dapht.blogspot.com...

I would say DO resist this. When something feels evil, I think we ought to trust our instincts.

Its probably an implant of some sort. You need to reduce electrical conductivity. When you are at home, make sure that you are well grounded, drink pure non-flouridated water. Keep a small knife under your mattress in order to protect against negative entities. There are these "spider thingies" that attach themselves to the brain and literally try to "milk" us - the Earth is currently overrun with them. The only real way to avoid them is by another kind of astral implant - basically like a cap, usually when an individual opens the channels to the higher planes they have to learn to defeat a variety of creatures. Just like survival of the fittest but in the next dimension. If it is a spirit of some kind, it might have something to do with the wedding...

I have written up my own strange experience with wrestling with something that seems to want to possess you or something on my blog:

dapht.blogspot.com...

Of other people who have had this experience, how many are musicians? How many are songwriters or other artists?

Knowing that even one other songwriter had this sort of thing happen makes me think of "Crossroads"..

I get that, but was speaking more about trying to go beyond the concepts of good and evil. The whole duality of it basically. For all we know what we've gone through could be something beneficial, to teach us how to better cope with actual negative entities should we ever have to. Or even to point us towards learning about these things because that's just what we're geared towards learning about. There's no solid evidence either way. Just saying because judging the problem as evil can only make things worse sometimes.

You might be awakening to the other dimensions.

lt is human to be affraid of things we do not know and have never experienced before, because it feels so strange at first, out of our common 'realms' with what we are familiar with. But this does not mean it has to be 'evil', we are bombarded with so many evil storys out there that we tend to think about anything out of the regular instantly to be 'evil', l think.

lt is my firm belief that everyone of us is protected and taken care of. l had the same expierences with sensations on the head area and today l know for myself that they are not evil. But heck that's just for me, l think everybody has to make up his or her own mind about these things.

I suffer from sleep paralysis and what you're describing sounds familiar. From wikipedia.

Physiologically, sleep paralysis is closely related to REM atonia, the paralysis that occurs as a natural part of REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. Sleep paralysis occurs either when falling asleep, or when awakening. When it occurs upon falling asleep, the person remains aware while the body shuts down for REM sleep, and it is called hypnagogic or predormital sleep paralysis. When it occurs upon awakening, the person becomes aware before the REM cycle is complete, and it is called hypnopompic or postdormital. The paralysis can last from several seconds to several minutes "by which the individual may experience panic symptoms". (described below) As the correlation with REM sleep suggests, the paralysis is not entirely complete; use of EOG traces shows that eye movement is still possible during such episodes. When there is an absence of narcolepsy, sleep paralysis is referred to as isolated sleep paralysis (ISP).

Also,

In addition, the paralysis may be accompanied by terrifying hallucinations (hypnopompic or hypnagogic) and an acute sense of danger. Sleep paralysis is particularly frightening to the individual because of the vividness of such hallucinations. The hallucinatory element to sleep paralysis makes it even more likely that someone will interpret the experience as a dream, since completely fanciful or dream-like objects may appear in the room alongside one's normal vision. Some scientists have proposed this condition as an explanation for alien abductions and ghostly encounters. A study by Susan Blackmore and Marcus Cox (the Blackmore-Cox study) of the University of the West of England supports the suggestion that reports of alien abductions are related to sleep paralysis rather than to temporal lobe lability. Some authors have warned of the possible misconnection between child sexual abuse (CSA) and hypnagogic/pompic phenomena and have noted that some clients after having described such an event to a fortune teller or psychic that the psychic may have suggested CSA.
