I have read probably 100 books on ufos and the author who I think comes the closest to understanding the phenomena or at least proposes the most original and creative theories was John Keel. I think the book UFO Operation Trojan Horse is the best book on ufos. The Eighth Tower and Our Haunted Planet are not to be missed either. What do you all think about his work? Anyone read Salvador Freixedo? Jacquees Vallee? They both propose similar ideas as Keel. I think the most important thing these men propose is that ufos do not have to be Extraterrestrial. Well Salvador Freixedo is a bit different, he does think that there are extraterrestrials and they are interacting with us. This is a great video that I think really makes a lot of sense considering the times we are living in right now

You'll have to excuse the rushed article by me at the end of the thread (was meant for people who'd not heard of Ultras before and has since been cleaned up a bit.) but this should be a decent thread for you if you've not seen it yet : www.abovetopsecret.com...

Agreed too, I think they have it sussed more than many.

The most interesting is Salvador Freixedo:

www.ufoevidence.org...

He has only omitted the possible relations with the afterlife.

Thanks for the link to the thread. I forgot to mention Brad Steiger. Although I think he has published a ton of redundant books purely for money I think some of them are worth reading, particularly Revelations.

I agree. After many years of believing in the ET hypothesis I have come to view this phenomenon in the same way. I have seen a UFO myself, and it looked like a structured craft just sitting in the sky, but it just disappeared like it was never there. It had a far off hazy look like the way a rennaisance artist might have painted something in the distance. I have come to the same conclusion as Keel that all of the manifestations that humans experience are manifestations of the same thing perceived as what we believe we will see.

good post. John Keel seems to be a straight shooter. I've read Haunted Planet and it is a great description of what troubles us now and in the future until something changes.

Good post. I have heard of John Keel, and have read some of his works. It makes me happy that people really want to think "out of the box" on these matters, and try to come up with some real answers. I too have delved into the UFO/Alien thing full force beginning in 1999, when I saw my first ET craft. Ever since that time, it is on my mind, I never again thought the same way. Eventually we of the human race will get the whole story out, and accepted. At this rate, it will take a long time.
