Hi there friend.
A friend works in downtown Memphis at City Hall and is active with the EMA and Fema. I'll speak with them today. I will also see if the mayor is planning any out of town trips if possible. I could be totally off and mean no disrespect, but I think your military contact could be wrong. Let me see what I can find out.

Yes, you may be right, but even the pressure is regulated. Or suppose to be.

You're living atop of a big bath.

certmapper.cr.usgs.gov...

You need to look and investigate well 1416. As a citizen, you go right to the Commission and ask for the current data and status of wells near you. Maybe it's totally shut down. It will make you feel better about it.

You should be feeling these newest quakes because they're farther north. Or is it the same and from the same direction.

I think that's a water well. webcache.googleusercontent.com...:ifOddujV3QoJ:www.state.ar.us/awwcc/List%2520of%2520Contractors%2520by%2520County%2520January%2520 2009.rtf+well+%231416+faulkner+county+arkansas&cd=39&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com

I would like to know the current status of well 1416 near Vilonia. It's listed as a capped or abandoned well, which used to be a conventional well drilling in the Morowan Sandstone.

Do you have the GPS coordinates for this well? The overlay I'm using shows the wells by permit number.
There are 3 inactive/plugged wells close to Vilonia.
Permit #19144 at Lat = 35.12017 Long. = -92.17743 (not a Fayetteville Shale Play well) last active date not included with info but it is a plugged well.
Permit #38534 at Lat = 35.13054 Long. = -92.1514 - last active 12/8/2005
Permit #41040 at Lat = 35.12351 Long = -92.16018 - last active 11/26/2008

As for WalMart, don't worry about them. The WalMart headquarters is more high-tech than the Pentagon, and the security is better. I used to work in many capacities for WalMart in that area, and they don't need your concern, they have prepared for anything and everything!

I'm as unconcerned for WalMart's headquarters building as possible (though I'd like to see their security measures get around being under 100 feet of ash; The Terminator wouldn't even survive that). It's the people that I'm concerned about. Tens of thousands of them could be in literal imminent immediate peril. In my own opinion (which is, of course, just my own opinion), the top half of Arkansas and everything around Memphis and everyone from New Orleans up to St. Louis should be evacuated, like, today, because it's become fairly obvious that "someone" is trying to set it off. Someone too powerful to stop (thus making the EVENT unstoppable). When an unopposable foe opposes you, the only sane thing to do is get out of its way. I bet all those poor people in Herculaneum wish they'd had some advance notice about Vesuvius... but of course, they have an excuse: they didn't have seismometers or scientists or ATS to tell them something was coming. We do.

Science!

And think about it. We have a government that's apparently trying to bankrupt itself so it can keep waging wars, we have the North American Union, we have companies bailing out and moving themselves to places like India, we have food that's half-poison, we have an entire generation of kids being forcibly drugged into a constant stupor, we're sacrificing our young adults in war after war to keep whoever's running Israel safe, we have Fox News... clearly someone wants America taken down several notches, if not all the way down, and our "elected leaders" are joyfully helping it along. The true rulers of Earth are very powerful, nearly omnipotent (as far as the Earth is concerned), and We, the People have been in their way for at least fifty years. They won't wait much longer. All they have to do is make it look like a natural disaster, and whoever survives will keep trusting them. Well... most of the survivors would. "Terrible, just terrible," everyone will say as they fill out their 1040 forms...

That was obviously a bunch of bull. Anyone can make up stuff. Not one ounce of proof to back anything up. Even pics of the military? Ridiculous! If they got just one person stirred, they got what they wanted.

Those of us in St. Louis are far more concerned about Albert re-signing with the Cards rather than some silly earth rattling event.
Seriously, my daily emails to Fox in St. Louis don't even get a response. There is an earthquake swarm not 200 miles from a very swollen river system ,and an area dotted with caves and sinkholes. There is a major city and vast network of highways. There are trucks crisscrossing this area with chemicals, bio hazards, etc. I know of 2 huge pharmaceutical plants with barrels and barrels of chemicals within 20 miles of the river.

I know I am chicken little to the local news. But the earthquakes are happening.

I think they turned up the pressure up there on those injection sites since the others are closed down. I've been thinking they might do that on the other wells.

I don't think they will do this for the simple fact that they are operating under a microscope now and probably wouldn't want to risk additional injection well shutdowns. I'm also fairly sure they can't raise pressure without amending existing permits.

LOL! I don't think evacuating the entire center of the country is necessary, or a very good idea, but people should be wary of what is going on around them.

Eventually something will happen, whether it be a major New Madrid Quake or a Yellowstone eruption or Pandemic Virus, we all know something will eventually happen, but it could be 10 days or 10,000 years from now, and in the meantime we can't disrupt our entire civilization over fears, even if they are somewhat justified. Imagine evacuating that entire zone, and then nothing happening for a few decades!

For now, everyone just needs to prepare (read my sig line) and be aware of their local events. (And, for the record, I have family in this zone.)

St. Louis is a pretty city, I was there a couple of years ago for Mother's Day for the first time, and really enjoyed my visit. It has my vote for the best Six Flags! St. Louis is extremely vulnerable, as is Memphis, and both cities are vital midpoints in this country, both for air and interstate. The Fed Ex worldwide hub is here in Memphis, and every package that is shipped anywhere on the planet goes through Memphis regardless of its origin and destination. If Fed Ex is crippled, packages definately won't get there overnight. I personally live 3 miles from a Dupont chemical plant, if that thing erupts, we are all dead, regardless of what the quake would destroy.

The red dots on this google earth photo snapshot are injection wells north of Vilonia, AK

There are actually 16 injection wells here. Most of those red dots have three injection wells at that sight.

All but one was active february and march of this year, one in 2010. The last one dated active was March 2.

Well, like I said before, those two wells were just a drop in the bucket. It was obvioulsy a big accomplishment to have ANY shut down and more importantly to set a precedence to argue they cause quakes....but I do not think it relieves the current seismic issue.

Here are two screen shots from the station in the NW corner of Arkansas that TruthSeeker was talking about. Some weird stuff coming out of there right now. This is listed as being in Hobbs,Arkansas.

(you need to drag the image to the right to see the most pronounced spikes)

Here is the same image, but zoomed in:

Now obviously I can't get more than that in one screen shot, but I have numerous stations open. It is interesting to note that some of those spike DO show up faintly on the other seismos near the swarm. How is this possilbe given the distance and size of the spikes? If there are harmonics involved, perhaps these areas are all connected and therefore this signal, while originating nearer to HHAR is reverberating throughout the others as well? I am just speculating, I really don't know. Anyone else?

The injection wells are noted in blue. Red dots are permitted well sites.

Oh, well, then if thats the case, these must be the injection wells with the permit numbers. Hope I got that right.

I am from the Chicago area (talk about a hot bed of paranormal stuff!) but have been in St. Louis for almost 20 years. It is a pretty, mostly quiet city.

I am so frustrated because the quakes are happening. I can see it on the USGS map (oops, another one today in the New Madrid area). The news and the city are doing nothing to give out info to people.

Prior to a snowstorm the weathermen are urging people to stock up and get off the roads. I have been hearing about the upcoming storms due to hit tomorrow, for a solid week.

I do not understand why no one wants to prepare the populace just in case these quakes intensify.

And if the ground water becomes polluted, the crops and livestock become an issue for more than just the US.
