Oh my that is some serious detective work right there! can you believe people go to this much trouble to fake something like this. I thought it was ludicrous to think that they were the same audio until Jonny did that comparison, unbelievable stuff.

Ahhhh, yes. Glowing far-away speck just has to be the real deal this time.
It fits the criterior. Unidentified - yes, Flying - yes, Object - yes.
Must be a ufo, prepare for invasion...

Honestly, I cannot believe some of the comments.

Well I have to disagree that they are small pinpoints of light. They looked large enough to me once I selected full screen. Not every ufo has to be nuts/bolts and metal. There is much that we do not know in this universe, and have yet to discover. We are all made up of energy, It seems plausable to me that some ufo's may consist of light, or appear that way. i.e plasma. Unfortunetly 99% of all ufo videos in todays world are fake. Technology has come forward a great deal. The negative side of that in relation to ufo hunting is that that same technology allows average folk to hoax a sighting.

Theres only one way we will truly ever know the truth...That is to keep searching, keep looking up to the skies and do our best to try and document anything that is questionable, so sites like ATS can have a detailed and combined evaluation.

I am just like everyone else here, I am looking for clarity and truth. I will not always be able to make intelligent conclusions without my peers help. I do my best to respect everyone that I converse with, sometimes I fail. It is through respect and the common understanding of searching for truth, that we will someday get closer to understanding the enigma of our exsistence and the nature of this world we live in.

If the audio is questionable at the least, then the time of the video comes into question also. It just so happens that last fall Venus and Mercury were in close proximity to each other at that time of near-twilight in the western sky. My assumption is that if the audio was messed with, a video of the two planets could have been altered to seem to show a UFO.

If the audio is questionable, and it without a doubt is ripped from an earlier video, then the whole thing is likely BS. Sometimes a popular clip will be edited with new audio and passed off as something else, but this really reeks of a hoax made by somebody who hijacked a YT account or just had a spare YT account laying around from ages ago. The YT account doesn't seem to have any actual activity until a day before the UFO video was posted

It has been about 48 hrs and still no reply from YouTube member of video.
Likely will not ever get a response. They can at least confess to hoaxing it and what made them do it. As to the previous comment...The alleged ufo video was the only thing really of interest to get any views on their channel, beside the drive over the bridge.

ok, I have to know how you did that. Unless you made the second video, how in the hell did you pick up on that out of all of the videos on you tube?

edit to add:

I just saw your explanation on page 5, don't let people tell you different, you have super human abilities. That was awesome. They should build you a shrine.

Well, at least it's not the same people all the time. There does seem to be a learning curve, although it's pretty slow. After responding enthusiastically to about the third one that turns out to be a load of crap, some people at least start hedging themselves a little. They don't immediately turn into evil skeptical debunkers, but they at least approach a new sighting or video with a bit more caution than before.

I suppose that's some kind of progress.

I think a little measure is a good thing! I tend to respond to UFO videos with a measure of both sides. I would look at it as if it is not a hoax and then look at it as if it is a hoax. To me this looked at first like some sort of electric atmospheric phenomena (I've never seen ball lightning but the area and weather conditions seemed about right for it).

Maybe the original audio is a meteorologist explaining the phenomena and the video part is real?

Either way I think the most healthy response is to assume a video could be hoax or real, ufo or other explainable phenomena and just for everyone to explore ths possibilities by comparison to known phenomena and tells of a hoax.

Finally it can NEVER be proved a UFO is of an ET origin without actually catching and studying it physically. It can only be shown what it is not and that certain hoax tells are not there.

BTW...

Just as an update.. The original poster of this YouTube video has now edited out all the audio (which was taken from the other video), and replaced with a musical soundtrack.. He also has made a repost of the same footage but in a zoomed fashion.mode. The lengths some people will go to keep a hoax alive.. Hey, lets just repackage it for a whole new set of viewers.

And mark my words, some unknowingly innocent member will repost this footage here at ATS as a "WOW" video..

Above is the reposted zoomed version with the same type of eerie soundtrack

To the OP, why do you say [HOAX] id you don't try to say why it is a hoax ?

Unless he ran out of matches that might be another star ship sighting.
Seemingly unconvincing as a hoax or real event.

So far from star ships sightings I'd say they stay for a lot longer than that.

You did read the thread right???? When I started the thread I did not call it a hoax. Members on here, pointed out some information regarding audio. From that information we can assume that this video is a hoax.

See "The government conceals ..... controlled mass media".

Its practically impossible to tell if flashing lights are unknown ships but they might as well be.

Up against a "criminally maintained" network who are we to believe.
