Normally when I sleep I do not remember any of my dreams when I wake up. However, this time may have been different. I took a nice afternoon nap
today for about a total of about 60 minutes. When I finally woke up, I didn't really wake up.
Apparently I was in some sort of sleep paralysis -- I couldn't move physically. But at the same time I could move, if only mentally. When I tried
to move physically nothing worked, but when I tried to move mentally, I felt -- in some sense -- a movement.
When I got to the point where I felt I was going to mentally move out of my chest, my eyes went hay-wire. I couldn't see much anymore but flashes
of light and gray, with the mental sensation of something (an entity or force) beating (in a physical but nonphysical way) me back into myself.
A few moments later I was fully awake and could move. All-in-all, I thought this was interesting, exciting, and a little bit scary. I just wanted to
share my experience and possibly get some feedback.
