Another Must-hear speech from Dr. Paul...

He alludes to a possible Soviet-style collapse if Big Brother continues on the way it's been going, as well as refering to them continuing trying to renew the UNpatriot Act over and over again, and the act itself virtually ABOLISHING the 4th amendment.

He also exposes the absolute FRAUD of the fed and how they are helping to collapse the economy, and he feels that even IF he does not get the audit on them that they are literally going to implode upon themselves due to their ever-idiotic counterfeiting / printing money out of thin air and giving it away to foreign government and "secret" interests...

This guy is a damn hero amongst nothing but criminals surrounding him...lol.

Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) sounded like he was about to hit the campaign trail again during his speech at a right-wing forum Friday, but before he left the podium, he warned Americans that their federal government was in trouble.

"Tragically, you're going to have the opportunity [to not ask the federal government for anything], because government is in the process of failing, and they can't deliver on the goods, just as the Soviets couldn't deliver the goods and maintain their own power," he said during the Conservative Political Action Conference.

I sure hope he runs for president again... I think he could really do it this time.
Has he officially stated that he would yet?

I wouldn't be surprised if there was another Kennedy situation again if he got close to or became president.

He speaks it like it is. An outspoken politician delivering such honesty puts me in awe. It makes me think there is hope. Then I also think that if he got elected he would be assassinated.. then I stop feeling hopeful. Am I being a negative nancy?

Just barely pulled off a 2/3 votes against the unpatriot act. Imagine they cared as much about the 4th amendment as they do about their right to bear arms... Ron Paul, is the only politician worth voting for in my books (which is not much)

I wish I could concer full-tilt with this speech, but I cannot; bear in mind that this speech took place at a conservative rally where Cheney was propped up as a god, and Rumsfeld was given some bull-***t award for service; it's easy for these flag-wavers to cheer some of what Ron Paul said when a so-called 'democrat' is in the white house; R. Paul works within the system, and system is rotten to the core; until this man comes out against the official story of 911, and at least acts like he's going after the oligarchy behind the 'throne' (not just the federal reserve, but the irs, cia, nsa, pentagon, wall street, and subsequent scumbags in his own 'party'), I can't completely buy it; I do applaud him for his efforts, but I can't buy into the idea that it will affect any lasting change; in fact, he may be nothing more than 'faux opposition'

Thanks for the post. I can't get enough of Ron Paul speeches, it makes my brain feel good.

volitionawareness; I think you're right to question RP, but based on how he has voted, and his public comments he seems to be different than any other politician right now, in a good way

He speaks at the CPAC and runs as a 'republican' to have even a snow-balls chance of becoming president. If he ran as libertarian he wouldn't have any chance.

He wants us to stop policing the world, stop the police state here in America, end the federal reserve and back our money with real value, and lower taxes. Sure he's not perfect, but I like what I see and hear.

God, I love that man!

Thanks for posting this excellent video. My favorite part is the chants of "end the fed!" He clearly had supporters out in force at this event.

Bravo, s&f!

Ron Paul consistently brings that common sense approach to government and is not afraid to speak his mind. I wish more of our elected officials cared about this country the way he does.

To me though he has always been just a little to "unelectable". I remember in his campaign run the last time around he made great points, but just always took them to an extreme where he would never be able to amass a stable foundation for becoming elected.

That said though, I always have "trusted' him, as far as politicians go and recently I have come to realize that when he's at the reins he would be forced a little more center -- where i think he is a perfect fit. If he decides to run in 2012 I would seriously consider his campaign this time around.

I've been following CNN coverage of CPAC and I was really amused how they downplayed Ron Paul and any chances of him not just wining republican nomination, but being serious candidate at all. It was very interesting. It shows who the "Elites" fears the most. Any other candidate would be easy pray for Obama except Ron and they are very well aware of it. Unfortunately I am afraid that they will use any means necessary if things get "serious" to stop him of becoming the next U.S. president...

but why would he want to become president, when the presidency is clearly a puppet post, and has been for decades? yes, he comes across as different than other politicians, but he is still a politician; besides, he has always been marginalized, and always will be; our vote doesn't count, and candidates always talk about what they will do, then never do it; do we want R. Paul to follow the same fate by becoming a presidential candidate?

I am convinced that Ron Paul is a role-player in the theatre of politics, designed to appease some of the dissent and give false hope; I do like the guy, but I just can't think he will matter in the end...

The people that he is always talking about will never allow him to become president. TPTB will only allow people who are looking out for their interests not the countries.

Americans wont allow communism to take effect..well hopefully not by todays soft and lazy standards. People voted against the bailout of the banks, and the government merley worked around it to get our money. Enough wasnt done...they shoulda resorted to protesting with some violence at least, without hurting anyone..aka looting and nearly destroying the banks involved, destorying surrounds of washington DC, perticulalry around the white house and congress for starters.that woulda DEF gotten attetnion and expressed outrage..same principle shuold apply to this news. and bring milk, eggs and tomaotes to throw at em..public justified embarrasement., rather that siting back and allowing it all to just happen.
many of us, i included, would fight that, and a war or battle to restore democracy, and the end of the federal reserve. i worked with a guy form communist hungary few years ago..well when it was under soviet contol. under communism, you made just enough money to support your family, rent and food. you were NOT allowed to have exesss money like yuo can here in USA. if you did KGB would have fun interrogating you, and most likely, confescating your saved money for the common good of the soveit government. in reality it was for them and some big shot generals or leutenants...things like that.
is this the america we want bought in? everyone being watched, controled, told what they can and cant eat, ice cream would just be a luxury through the summer then. it seems to me, thier crashing the dollar, too alow communism or socialsim in. The elite, as i like to call them, the clintons, bilderburgs, even obama, bush family, bill gates, and others, are the ones to be ontop and techincally rule over all of us,a s kings and selfish queens, while we suffer the defeat of being controlled and executed as they deem necesarry.. just seems the direction thier going to me.

I REALLY REALLY wish that Ron Paul was a crackpot.

I really wish he was DEAD WRONG.

But the more I look into what has gone on since I became an adult in 1970, the more I am horrified at the corruption of the criminals in DC. The more I am completely convinced that the demise of our country was PLANNED and has been carried out by the men and women in Congress who are traitors to their oath and to the interests of the USA and her people.

They got greedy, realized they, the big bankers involved, bernenke nad the FED have bankrupted it all so bad from greed...it cant be fixed. New world order. communism as NWO goes, would be brought in to replace democracy, since they casued it form greed too go kerplunk basically. And, as with any civilized culture as history shows us, like the romans..the people are the ones that suffer. well thats a technicality too...a few romans were murdered for the good..Caligulie was one of them. making up insane laws from insanity..even the roman guards had enough of him, and stabbed him dead..and he was an emperor! that in its own cruel way, was necessary to restabilize out of control rule
maybe today we should look back at historys moments time to time

I followed his campaign very closely.

He had told his supporters he would definitely run and reassured them of this at the end of May,2008. Bilderberg had their meeting in the USA the first week of June 2008. Three days after the meeting closed Ron Paul announced he would not run. This was a scant two weeks after he had assured his supports he WOULD.

Connect the dots.

MOSCOW -- For a decade, Russian academic Igor Panarin has been predicting the U.S. will fall apart in 2010. For most of that time, he admits, few took his argument -- that an economic and moral collapse will trigger a civil war and the eventual breakup of the U.S. -- very seriously. Now he's found an eager audience: Russian state media.

Igor Panarin
.In recent weeks, he's been interviewed as much as twice a day about his predictions. "It's a record," says Prof. Panarin. "But I think the attention is going to grow even stronger."

Prof. Panarin, 50 years old, is not a fringe figure. A former KGB analyst, he is dean of the Russian Foreign Ministry's academy for future diplomats. He is invited to Kremlin receptions, lectures students, publishes books, and appears in the media as an expert on U.S.-Russia relations.

But it's his bleak forecast for the U.S. that is music to the ears of the Kremlin, which in recent years has blamed Washington for everything from instability in the Middle East to the global financial crisis. Mr. Panarin's views also fit neatly with the Kremlin's narrative that Russia is returning to its rightful place on the world stage after the weakness of the 1990s, when many feared that the country would go economically and politically bankrupt and break into separate territories.

A polite and cheerful man with a buzz cut, Mr. Panarin insists he does not dislike Americans. But he warns that the outlook for them is dire.

I know this is a couple of years old, but it stayed with me. Plus, Ron Paul is a weasel. He plagerized an article of mine (or his speech writers did) two years ago. So I'm still angry.
