You had me at Hoax (a huge thank you)

I just joined ATS because of the incredible discussion that surrounding the Dome of the Rock UFO videos. I knew I had to become a member after reading these posts, some of the best information on the web regarding the videos. Not only was the debate intense and informative, but it was also civilized and meaningful. Passion without getting petty. Intelligent and fact-driven. And also well moderated.

I have to say, I wanted the videos to be real. I approach these things with skepticism but know there is more to this Universe than we can perceive and understand. The videos played into the skeptics prime scenario: corroborated video evidence. I am grateful that this place exists to look carefully at the evidence. As such, I'm going to stick around and see what else I can learn.

Yeah, people may knock 'conspiracy theorists' but I've seen much more thorough analysis/debunking of videos/documents claiming truth here than in most media outlets. Welcome.
