My problem with this, is CNN is not a 100% percent reliable news source. The information is subpar. Everyday we at risk here in America. We should always keep our heads up. But, I don't believe any more liberties should be taken away from the people ...

For my job, I travel alot, almost daily, on the ground, in my own vehicle and I cover a pretty large area,
let's say from the Mason Dixon to the Great Lakes and draw a circle that encompasses that area.

I meet soooooooooooo many different types of people it's amazing.
Just imagine a pot filled with every vegetable ever grown, that's what I'm talking about,
every age, sex, color, belief.
I hear opinions and thoughts and plans, personal stuff, like you wouldnt believe.

What John and Jane Q Public truly think, I am more convinced now than ever before, DOES NOT match the messages pumped out on the television, radio or in the papers.
There is a huge disconnect between governance/media and the real people we call neighbors, family and friends.

People 'may' have been asleep for quite awhile but I dont believe that to be the case anymore,
they are waking up in droves, and it's not held to categories or demographics.

Those actually pulling the strings know this as well. Sure you'll have the blind robotic followers, but their not as dominant as you would think.
That being said, for the agenda to advance and continue there will have to be a galvanizing event, once again, put into play.

The story isnt so quickly believed anymore, (pick a story any story), so the stakes will need to be raised.
An intelligent and truly representative government would address that and act accordingly,
an independent and seperate group with an opposing agenda would address that as well, and, act accordingly.

The moves are being telegraphed right before our very eyes,
We just need to be honest to ourselves, as to what it is we see, and talk to eachother, we're not alone,
and we're not few.

For the first time ever, here in Aberdeen i heard a Terrorist Radio Announcement.

It basically said that if you witness ANY strange behaviour, even if you think its not dangerous i.e. people looking at security camera locations etc etc that you need to call the national terrorism hotline.

I thought this was quite strange simply because they were making out that any activity could be construed as "strange", like looking at security cameras...

I have a theory.

They are telling you that islamic terrorists are trying to recruit westerners for a very good reason. They know that people aren't going to put up with it much longer. What better way to lock you up than brand you as an extremist terrorist? It will work, because the world is chock full of morons who can't even tie their own shoes.

It was game over when the 'terrorist' laws came in (across multiple countries) to play. 30 years ago they would have accused you of being a communist, these days a terrorist.

Revolution in the historical sense of the word will never occur. The only way out really is mass non-compliance, and that wont happen because people are way too comfortable. They will chip away at the edges until the dissenters are labelled and locked away for good.

I wish I was born in a different world.

Have to agree with the people who state this is fearmongering.

She says "in some ways the threat may be at its most heightened state" so that it means it also may not be.

She states that "Al Qaeda is at its weakest point in the last decade, but remains "a very determined enemy," this is contradictory to the threat level she states the country is at.

She also stated ""If you see something, say something" which is a "campaign designed to foster public vigilance." That is similar to the ideology of a totalitarian state and could come straight from 1984. It also reminds me of the McCarthyism witch hunts.

Maybe this has something to do with the patriot act getting voted down. Scare the people a bit and get them to sacrifice their civil and personal rights for the sake of safety.....

I honestly think 1984 should be a compulsory read for everyone on the planet. Once finished with that, they should then be made to watch The Power Of Nightmares by Adam Curtis too.

Too bad this is exactly what will happen,

This is clearly an attempt to scare people in an effort to push along the renewal of the Patriot Act. Personaly, Im not scared. We all gotta die sometime but I prefer to live free while Im doing it!

The terrorists are probably the most scared; they are probably thinking " which one of us are they going to blame it on!?"

It seems like there needs to be a major event to motivate everyone to work toward a common goal like a revolution. People here talk about impending natural disasters. Well, there's not going to be a pole shift on March 15. Yellowstone is not going to erupt in the coming weeks. There will be no major quake on the New Madrid Fault. And the comet will have no impact on this planet. The greatest threat to the stability of this country and its government is hyperinflation, the devaluation of the US dollar. Unlike all the aforementioned natural disasters, hyperinflation is actually coming soon, and it is inevitable. What good is this government going to be to us when we're starving to death and they can't help? The government isn't even warning us about what's about to happen.

Honestly the parallels between former Communist systems and the Nazi system are so numerous that it amazes me that so many Americans have tolerated these policies and gone along with them.

Sadly most of the people who do support it, support it in the name of the Muslim Boogie Man and are prone to religious manipulation themselves, making it all to easy for them to believe that members of other religions can be manipulated into doing almost anything.

Isn't it ironic that it's the Judean/Christian/Zionist types who are so fearful and offended by Islam that are actually the ones aiding the destruction of the American Way of Life and Dream and not the Islamists they are doing this in fear of?

I guess we are finding out the hard way just why the founders wanted Church and State seperate?

Are you sure that it's the "Judean/Christian/Zionist" types that are doing this?

I don't rightfully know who's parading it on the news, but I know from personal experience that the people in my everyday life who think like that are not the religious, but the "logical" atheist nerd-ish types and many women in general.

Please tell me that you are saying you think it's being advertised to that group and not caused by it. I suspect that it is an excellent technique, but that's not the thought process in my neck of the woods.

Maybe upstate New York is different.

Why wait to be recruited by Islamic extremists groups? The government will try and recruit and then arrest more "would-be-terrorists" than any group could imagine recruiting.

Terrorism Stings and Entrapment

Stings Not Unusual

To Entrap or Not To Entrap

Most likely, the targets of this "recruitment" will be young, idealistic, disillusioned, possibly angry, and highly impressionable. If the government used half of these resources to reach out, inform, educate, and guide these potential "terrorists" to being free thinking individuals, the real terrorists would be much easier to find. Heck, if government schools actually performed this function with the K through 12 school population, the kids may actually get something out of it and I could sleep more confidently at night knowing that when I am gone, the world is actually getting a little smarter.

Of course, a free thinking young person is dangerous. The system is still set up in a very black and white paradigm. They are using deception and evil to combat deception and evil. Peaceful citizens of America (and the world) are going to get fed up but they will also be stuck in the middle. How reassuring is that?

"When the PEOPLE give up their FREEDOMS for a FALSE sense of SECURITY, they often lose BOTH !"
Quote by Heaven's Messenger 777, december212012.com

Be AFRAID .... Be VERY AFRAID .... The US Government can use this to openly declare MARTIAL LAW and with Obama's new attempts to declare anyone who voices opposition to him and his ideals via legislative action or action through Executive Order, it can become very very dangerous for everyone !

Wait... Who are the terrorists anyway?

It seems that both the Republicans and Democrats agree on one thing: "Terrorize the people with fear."

How can the terror threat be elevated?!? I thought we were fighting two wars to 'control' this terrorist threat?!?

Did Napolitano just admit defeat?

This is seriously stupid folks. It just shows without a doubt that both parties in control of the USA have another agenda, and it is not to keep you or I safe, but to cause fear.

Are you afraid yet? Is there a terrorist hiding in your closet or under your bed? Is there some middle eastern boogie man that is gonna getcha? :shk:

boogity booogity booogity boooooo!

:::fnord:::

Al Qaeda is at its weakest point in the last decade, but remains "a very determined enemy," Leitner said, noting there have been multiple disrupted plots in northern Europe in the last five years.

There will be no terror as long as no false flag events are orchestrated.

Examples:

911
Madrid
Bali
London
WTC 93
Oklahoma City

Quit using the Hegelian Dialect Order Out of Chaos method. Its getting old and stands out like a sore thumb.

You sound like one 'o dem fearmongers man. In answer to your question, "...Is there a terrorist hiding in your closet or under your bed?", let me say this My domestic terrorist is sleeping in my bed! She makes me sleep on da couch and I must do her bidding night and day. She aint no alCIAda but I'm pretty sure she is a hillbilly cause she goes barefooted all the time. If I had the courage, I'd call Big Sis cause I sure did see somthing,,,stars, when my terrorist wharped me on da head this morning wid the fry pan..

I see this as job justification...without fear/imminent terror threat why have a DHS? Our government has been in search of an enemy since the end of the Cold War. It's just the yin/yang...Superman/Kryptonite, God/Satan, Hatfield/ McCoy...you gotta have a bad guy to prove YOU are the good guy.
