Okay i came across a website with some really scary ghost photos, you have to check them out

This photo was shot at Boothill Cemetery in Tombstone Arizona by Terry Clanton cousin of the legendary Clanton Gang who shot it out at the OK Corral with the Earps and Doc Holliday. Clanton says "This is the photo that changed my opinion about ghost photos."

Terry Clanton described the photograph; "The picture was shot in black & white, because my friend wanted an old western style picture of himself dressed up in my 1880 period clothes. I know there was no other person in this photograph when I shot it, especially some guy holding a knife!".

If you look carefully at the thin person wearing a black hat in the background, he looks as if he is holding a knife. The person appears to have no legs or as if it is coming out of a grave.

next and source: www.ghost-story.co.uk...

he woman in the photo was in her 90's when this picture (Image 1) was taken and had long since been a widow. Her daughter, who took the picture, reports that her mother was in the early stages of dementia and for the days prior had been talking out loud to her dead husband.

When this picture was developed the daughter was amazed to see that there was a man standing behind her mother that she hadn't seen with her naked eye when she took the photo. What made the ghost picture all the more amazing was that the man standing behind her mother was clearly the woman's late husband.

To back up her claim the daughter provided black and white photographs of the couple in their younger years to show what her father looked like before he died

source: www.ghost-story.co.uk...

A ghost was recently photographed at Gwrych Castle, the apparition of a young lady looking out from a window, the photo was taken by Kevin Horkin. When taking the photograph he did not notice the ghostly figure it was only whilst he was downloading the photos that he noticed the figure of the young girl

This well known "ghost" photo was snapped by Reverend K. F. Lord at Newby Church in North Yorkshire, England in the 1960's. He claims he was merely taking a photo of the alter and didn't see anything unusual at the time, until the photograph was developed. This particular photo has been the subject of many arguments and much controversy over the years due to the rather "fake" appearance of the figure in the photo.

The apparition picture appears to be a monk with hands folded in prayer and a ghastly face. The monk looks to be older than the building, from the time when monks were a common sight in England. Thus, it is likely the monk would date to before the time of Henry VIII, who closed down all monasteries.

( love the next one its from 1891 nobody has photo manipulating software then)

Sybell Corbet took this photo of the magnificent Combermere Abbey Library in 1891. Located in Cheshire, England the abbey was founded by Benedictine monks in 1133 and later became the Seat of Sir George Cotton KT, Vice Chamberlain to the household of Prince Edward, son of Henry VII. Sir Stephen Cotton, a descendant, took the name "Lord Combermere" and after distinguished military service ended up being the Governor of Barbados. He died in 1891 after being hit by a horse drawn carriage.

Sybell Corbet set up her camera with its shutter open for one hour in the manor's library while the entire staff were out at Lord Combermere's funeral, some four miles away. When the plate was developed, the startling image of what looks to be a man's head and upper torso sitting in the chair was immediately noticed. Many of the staff said that the image looked very much like the late lord, and the apparition happened to be sitting in Combermere's favorite chair in the library.

I don't find ghosts scary at all. They are absolutely fascinating. Why be scared of them? If they are here and among us then they have always been here and among us. Might even be standing over your shoulder right now to see what it is you are reading or typing.

I will back you on that Ted.

These photos have been included on other threads.... so many times. This particular thread had the least number of photos that I remember.

I don't see him holding a knife, but I do see him cradling a small dog in his arms:

Bit of a typical tabloid headline hype there...there is nothing scary about ghosts, I am more worried about a gang of thugs than I ever will be about ghosts..and those fame seeking muppets on the TV dont help either.. most sad.

Looks like we have a mini mod amoungst us. Quick, someone get him a badge and a gun.
Thank you for keeping us all safe.

On topic,
I think that there are people who are very bit as alive and breathing as you or I who reside in a dimension which cannot be easily percieved by us but does tend to bleed over into our dimension from time to time.
I think that when we exit our bio suits in this dimension we will be fully a part of this other dimension and
we will be the ones bleeding over into someone elses reality from time to time.

Who knows maybe "the living" bleed over into "their" dimension from time to time and they are like "WTF" was that.

Well copyright is part of the t&c's, I don't see a problem with another poster reminding someone of that! And yes, these photos have been posted so many times, in so many threads, perhaps using the search function prior to starting new threads would be a good idea in future.

Not trying to be a mini mod, just giving a bit of advice

Especially when we have DHS shutting down websites for simply linking to a source. There's a recent thread on ATS about that.

Edit:
DHS Seizes Websites For MERELY Linking To Copyrighted Material.
