THAT `missing village in china`

Anybody following ufo or paranormal news around october will know the big story going around the websites and youtube, allegedly a village by a mountain in china disapeared in blue smoke orbs ufos or whatever and the police or army has cornered off the place and the story was being hidden from the public etc okay theres no point me going into the full story click here to refresh your memory

anyway, what happened to it? the entire story just faded a couple of weeks later, no follow up, no official declaration of hoax, no other articles apart forma poorly transalated google article

which brings me to my point, how come we have so many cases like this and they come to nothing, absolutly nothing in the end, and does anyone have any follow up at all on the story or village

It would be interesting if we could get this thread going again.

and yes i know towards the end people claimed its a hoax because such and such
but the reality is there were no articles or witnesses to get any evidence either way either hoax or true
the only thing which smelt fishy was that the video with the initial article, or on the page was a rehashed video from 2008
