Poetry is an ART you know !!

you guessed it right , this is another poetry thread .
i have been writing poems for a while now .
What we all need to understand is that poems are just as unique as a person (him/her)self .
Self -Expression is very important to discover the essence of one's being .

Remember , poems written just for the sake for rhyming are not the best of the poems .

Let the emotions flow ,dare to be bold
Let your subconscious creative side take hold


My poem : Perished Soul

Once in a dream
in a thoughtful stream
i heard a silent scream
Within Myself
Bewildered was I
Due , to the subconscious cry
Melting with me
Entirety of my being
Everything , seen , unseen
Just destroyed by a peculiar cry
Once I was awake
scattered and dismissed
To see my world destroyed
i was nothing but overjoyed
The dream did end
God , he did send
An angel to collect my perished soul
I woke in the nether realm
Forced to be q slave of truth
Enslaved by my own reality
Serving the purpose of the ONE
and only GOD .


I do not believe in a personal God . All through the poem I have used figurative language and terms .
If you are aware of The Law of attraction or new age cultism , you will easily understand the meaning of the poem .
The poem is also a Rant on the status quo .

Thanks for sharing. Here is the start of mine. Heres a sad tale, The saddest tale that has been, About how the moon came to watch, Over me. It wasnt by chance, It wasnt by luck, But a deed brought by pain, But made of pure love. That is all of my 20 page poem that i will show for now. Thanks for showing your heart in words.

Thank you. You are the first person other than my friends that I have started to, well express my words to. Once I work out my computer and how to set my words out in the poetry format like you did, you will see more of my poem. Thanks again for your kind words PS I do find it funny that the mood your in, Confused. Is near where Im located, Im somewhere between dazed and CONFUSED. I find this a little bit weird. But life is funny like this, wouldn't you agree.

Im no poet yet. But I hope oneday I can place the feelings i feel sometimes into words and get people to feel them, only then i would think I could be a poet. But i have alot to learn until then. Thanks again.
