While Bill O'Reilly says his interview with President Barack Obama before the Super Bowl will be among the most watched interviews in television history

Welcome to Bill O'Reilly's Spin Zone; Yahoo! News

Did anyone watch the interview? What was it about?

I cannot find any video of the interview and both Fox and Fox News made no mention of the interview.

Where can I watch the interview?

I caught the tail end. Bill asked Obama how he feels about people hating him. Obama says you have to have thick skin to hey as far as he did. In other words haters gonna hate.

Then Bill asked him about the Super Bowl. Obama gave his insight, but refused to pick a winner, then invited Bill to the party.

The end.

Scripted b.s. with Bill really hanging back.......it was pathetic. Although I'm sure some of the left on here were wetting their legs watching Obama live on t.v. again. It was a typical fluff peice with nothing of substance.

After all of the hype this really ended up being a softball interview. I have never seen O'Rielly let someone talk over him but this happened several times during the interview. The Pres totally ran the whole thing. It was a sham from the beginning. For being one of Obama's biggest critics Bill had the demeanor of a neutered dog in that interview. No doubt we will get the same excuse that there is a special decorum when interviewing POTUS. Yeah okay! You can go. Back to shouting down other guests who dissagree with you Bill. What a stooge.

How is O'Rielly doing anything but standing on street corners and ranting incoherently to passers by, how he is on a 'news' show blows my fragile english mind

Haven't seen the interview, but either way, my expectations would be really low given O'Reilly's recent performances

Tbh, I think it's a disgrace that this man gets to interview the president!

I find it disgusting that Bill had to interview Obama....
Surely there was someone far more interesting than him....this was just a fluff piece for Obama and the left. Bill should be ashamed for selling out.

I'm pretty sure Bill should be ashamed of a lot more than just that given his most recent performances

The disgrace is that we do not have a 'free' press. In the hopes of continued ratings and further interviews, people such as Mr. O'Reilly and others are basically cornered to lob softball questions.

Take for instance the party thrown by a media mogul for an outgoing presidential insider. All the in crowd were there.

Given that, what makes you think anyone within the 'media' would ever want to bite the hand that feeds? Sad........So very ##%^@ sad......

I couldn't agree more, and it's one of the reasons I believe Wikileaks is doing us all a favor...and a better job than the main stream media. At least they're critical of things and not just lapdogs of the government (or specific political parties).

O'Reilly played softball with Obama in this interview, how pathetic. It was probably FOX's attempt at saying, "Hey we are not anti-Obama" or some other lame ass reason that O'Reilly did not ask him real questions.

If it was just O'Reilly backing down from a fight then shame on him. Next time let Judge Napolitano, Glenn Beck, John Stossel, or Neil Cavuto, interview President Obama, at least they will give him the real questions.

Honestly I think Bill lost his credibility long before this interview. See - the other videos that have been posted in this thread.

Wow. Okay...

I watched the interview and thought O'Reilly was an ass.

He repeatedly talked over the POTUS, interupted him and kept trying to put words in his mouth.

O'Reilly was an idiot.

I don't care if it is Pres. Bush or Pres. Obama...it's the POTUS. You can ask any question you like, but don't interrupt and cross talk. Show a modicum of courtessy for the office.

O'Reilly is confused if he thinks that people tuned in to hear him jabber like an arrogant ass.

I do give the POTUS credit for going on Fox.

And I am glad O'Reilly acknowledged that the Obama Administration went after Mubarek and demanded the immediate release and return of the Fox News crew.

To me that was the definition of what is different between the USA and other countries.

I am sure Mubarek, who arrests the opposition on a daily basis, was confused as to why the Obama adminstration would come heavy and demand the immediate release of Fox News journalists...

It is times like that which remind me we still have hope in this country. They might infer that the POTUS is a socialist hell bent on destroying this country on a regular basis...but they are Americans first...they are ours...and that freedom of the press trumps idealogy or political views....Something that Mubarek doesn't understand and something that the White House does.

With no fanfare the State Department and the White House scrambled and went heavy after the Mubarek regime and got the Fox News journalists immediately released. [I]That was cool to me. Score one for the USA whatever side of the fence you sit on. The Whitehouse reminded Egypt and other countries that we will always fight for Americans abroad...not one of us is "fair game"...even those that claim we are Hitler. They are Americans first and not to be messed with.
