What would the world look like after the fall of the American Empire?

What would the world look like after the fall of the American Empire? I know that after the Empire the American people will be work together to restore the Republic but what would be the world events look like without the US sticking her nose around?What will be the fate of Australia, Latin America, Europe, Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and many other nations who either have been bullied by the US, have US bases on them or supported by her.

After the fall of the American empire the world will look quite a bit like it does now.
Only progressively more so.

The world would look progressively worse. Notice how you only ever hear "bullying" complaints from violent/shifty countries. The only reason countries like North Korea, among others, complain about American influence is because it isn't North Korean influence, or whatever country you insert. America, along with the rest of the rational world (the UK and France are usually involved), keep these countries who have a history of violence/unrest under such close watch not to oppress, but to keep them from being able to act out of some lunatic's will.

Kill America and what happens: China becomes the world power, spreads their ideology, shifty countries aren't afraid. North Korea has no fear of retaliation, so they annihilate South Korea. Other Asian countries like Japan and Vietnam are annexed into the Chinese Empire. Iran develops nuclear weapons and annihilate/conquer their Middle Eastern enemies. Countries in South America see such power, and finally convert to communism or other forms of socialism. Europe "unites" best they can to try and beat the Iranian Empire down. The UN fails, China backs the Iranian Empire's efforts, and both promise to split the world with Russia in return for their support. The Iranian Empire is virtually annihilated, but Europe is soon beat into submission by invading Chinese and Russians, who have unlimited resources from Asia, Eurasia, and South America. The world continues to not care about Mexico. Anything that isn't a crater becomes part of China, including the disorganized America.

That is just how I imagine it would most likely play out. Not a very happy time.

I just had a though.., I don't think China will ever be the 'worlds' super power. Yes 'a' super power, but as racist as it sounds whites, blacks, brows, Red's would never take command from Asian's since there the 'other white' or yellow if you prefer. It doesn't matter how big they make their military within it's boarders because of it's over population, other nations would would work together to never let them branch out into the world. I could never see it happening, UNLESS massive populations were wiped out by a nuclear war, and there was no people left.

I wasn't really saying how America would die. I was just saying if America were to topple itself, so as to not directly ruin another country. I wouldn't say the Reds would necessarily bow to the Chinese, just that they would go along with it for more power or something like that. And yes, the Chinese are internally unstable, but they've got their act together more than everyone except maybe Germany and America. And this thread eliminates America from the equation, so my last post was just how I imagine it would play out.

North Korea is far too weak and disliked/unstable to do anything like that on their own.

I'm nor real sure how the world would look like after the fall of America, but as an American sick and tired of other nations slamming the US at every opportunity, tired of other nations always holding their hands out, and other nations projecting a false arrogance, I'm looking forward to finding out.

Thanks to the Great Society of LBJ, we have generations of social, educational, financial, and moral parasites that would be quickly purged once their artificial livelihood was cut off.

I'd like to think we wouldn't go out quietly and we'd take the rest of you with us!!!! Sorry I love my country. As twisted and screwed up as it sometimes is it's better than a lot of the other choices out there. But I'd rather concentrate on spending my time figuring out how to get the rest of the world to be at peace with themselves and others even if we don't see eye to eye. Were all breathing the same air if you know what I mean.

Personally I'm dreading the fall of the American Union. I understand that the nation has been in decline for decades now, but with recent events highlighting its imminent collapse it begs the question who will fill the void? Although there was a peaceful transition of power from Britain to America after the Second World War I doubt this will be repeated today especially when we look at the world and see a a growing hositlity towards the English-speaking peoples. My personal belief, which is based on my understanding of the Bible, is that the European Union will replace America as the world's superpower. However, prior to this will arise an Arab-Muslim confederacy in the Middle East, which might embolden Islamic fundamentalists to the point that a series of terrorist attacks will strike America and lead to its total demise. At the same time this Arab-Muslim confederacy might target Europe too and this will lead to European forces invading the Middle East (perhaps under the guise of "peace" and "security") surrounding Jerusalem (which is the "sign" to watch for) and defeating this confederacy. Of course Russia, India and China might not like this and will weigh in on the matter leading to all out global war.

I know what you meant. The American Empire has fallen. I think that we can all agree on that today. The last two 4 years I think all the nations have just been watching the US crash and burn it disbelief not really knowing what it would mean for the rest of the world. Well we know what it means now, every other country can, has been, and will survive without the US economy. It is the only economy of the developed world that has gotten progressive worse since the recession began in 2007.

The US is a weird country right now. It still has troops overseas, and all over the world, and that is where the US government has been spending all it's money, rather then in it's homeland. It has just taken it's military personnel, and government officials out and away from the bankrupt wasteland that is the American homeland.

The US gov has picked up, and jumped ship, and it actually very eerie, because it's almost as if they know of or are going to do something to wipe out the people. I have no doubt something is coming that is going to knock out the American people, either natural of caused by the US itself. That is why they haven't tried to fix the US at all....

Someone(s) or something is going to get rid of the US.
