What would you do with �1 bn ?

Im just curious.

Just to know what would you do with all that money?

Charity, space travel, plastic surgery...anything ...the question is WHAT would YOU DO with �1 bn?

I would do a lot of stuff with it!

buy some special equipment for hospitals,
put some money in to research.
buy some land,
Pay of some peoples debts.
start up a homeless project to get those who want to be helped back in to work,

ect... the money to me would be a way of changing a few peoples life,

I would go to Google and try and figure out how much that is in American Dollars.

Then buy the BEST parts out htere and build the best comp possible. Get a Dual 2.5ghz G5 PowerMac ...a couple huge monitors...great sound system...the biggest plasma screen TV i can find with the best picture...buy myself my dream car...a blue 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible...get a gun for protection...id also get some of those LightWave props from StarGate SG1...and Id get EVERY season on DVD of StarGate...Star Trek...and X-Files...Id also get a T3 line for my house ...and then a few things that come up every once and a while when I want them...and to top it all off.......

I would put close to a third of it into my 2 hobbys My Car and Paintball. Then i would invest the rest.

i would open up my shop, never handle money again, start my zine (finally!) and circulate it nationwide.

Actually I just gave it some thought, I would just pretend I am extremely retarded and flop around, pour my dinner on my head, speak in odd voices, sometimes go naked, and just be general thing people would try their best to avoid, but they can't because I'm flying around the world with my kevlar armor suit speaking through my megaphone telling them I'll fight any self proclaimed messiahs and if they don't like it they can kick rocks.

and everyone in the world would recieve a letter from me simply stating : I'm rich biatch.

Depends on how it comes to me.

If I won it in the lottery or inherited it, obviously I'd be convinced I was uniquely deserving and donate as much as possible to the Republican party to ensure none of it ever goes to help anyone that doesn't directly serve my own selfish interests. Then I'd lock the rest up in federally insured banks, bonds and CD's with some toward highly conservative "investments" in the subsidized infrastructure of the government, like Utilities and Financial Corporations. Any so called "charitable" giving would be restricted to buying political influence to enforce my morality on others as Jesus enters your heart as a by product of the dumb luck associated with falling backasswards into money.

However, if I earned it (like Ted Turner) hopefully I'd have an appreciation for exactly how much money that is as well as the thousands if not millions of people who's stuggles helped me get there including the very Capitalist society that allows such achievement and use my wealth to create real opportunities for others with jobs, investments and truly generous giving like his billion dollar donation to UN relief efforts. In which case, the Republican Party would no longer want anything to do with me as I'd be considered a scandalous anti-American traitor.
