No, cause if you actually watched that section, you'd see it moves behind the ISS. Clearly too.

And reflections don't move behind objects. They stay in front.

well whatever it is i am downloading the video to see weather the lights are in front or behind.. a close up of the pixels should show color change indicating that the lights are in front of the iss..time for premiere

So what you're saying is debunkers take time out to explain in detail and depth what an anomaly is, whilst people like yourself take a single second to make up their minds instantly that its aliens.

For me its often the instant believers who get pretty creative with they are seeing.

Excuse me for butting in, but has anyone heard from the guy who calls himself "Phage"? I personally couldn't dive a damn if he's alive or dead, but am wondering just because I haven't him post for some time now, and he's usually pretty quick to debunk anything having to do with U.F.O's.

it's a reflection, if you look at about 2:15 and happens again at least one more time, you can see how one of the lights goes in front of the station, it's just a little bit, but enough to tell me it's just a reflection. i wish it wasn't. lol. but let's face it..

I'm voting on reflection or some sort of imaging artifact...at around 3:40 one of the white dot really appears to be on the foreground of ISS structure.

Well the part you are seeing is DEXTRE the Robot... the row of lights are probably on a section of the station behind the robot arm on the station that is still in the dark

Regarding the OP, I want to say it's a reflection, but something about the way it moves independent of the ISS and the camera just doesn't feel right.

That's a little harsh. I thought Phage's analysis was, well thought out and informative. Nobody is perfect, anyway. I contacted Phage on his youtube channel regarding a topic and this is an excerpt, from his reply.

I haven't been interested enough to subject myself to the accusations of being an "agent", etc.

About the video, I have only viewed it once and like another poster said, it needs further investigation. Nice video, I will add this to my favorites for sure.

I think zorgon had a good explanation, up above....I haven't had the resources, yet, to find the camera location and details of the design, there. Is a LOT to learn about the ISS, and hard to find online, sometimes, exactly what's needed.

As to lights changing....in the rows. Again, would be expected as angle of sunlight changed. Only one guess, BTW, based on the orderly line of "dots"....first idea came to my mind was a row of rivets. BUT, have to learn more about the construction, and the area in particular.

Without reading the whole thread as of yet, you're hypothesis was my first reaction. However, why is there missing lights along the line if they are simply reflections?. If this has been answered, I'll see it when I cover the rest of the thread.

Obviously they are reflections. As the ISS orbits, the angle of the Sun is constantly changing, hence the items being reflected seem to "fade in".

It is rather easy to see, since they never alter their relative position....until the camera tilts "down" at about 4:45 or so. Then, the positions slowly drift, relative to the portion of the ISS equipment in the foreground. Again, the reflective angle has changed, due to camera reposition AND station orbital motion and path.

EXACTLY. That was what i was going to say.

As the sun "rises"(or the station moves) the relative position of the sun changes,causing the reflex on the camera's lenses to change position,you can see that as the station moves into the "horizon" the sun "rises" and the reflection gradually increase.

Im still trying to figure some of these explinations out, hopefully some more will come forward. I forget who mentioned they were going to dl the video. Perhaps they will see something as well.

In the meantime, and guess as to what that is in the sky in San Jose that was suppose to be happening at the same time s this? That came at the end of the video? I think that needs a little attention as well, yes? It sort of reminds me of those videos that came out of mexico last year? year before? of the craft spitting other craft or whatever it was out from both ends.I know some of you must remember that.

First, you need to research to find out what direction exactly that camera was facing. Backtrack the ISS position on orbit, for that local time (both PST for San Jose, and MST for Arizona).

Also, that camera? Was it taking a long exposure (it was nighttime, after all)...is that an airplane flying by the camera, and exposed in the long shutter opening?

The angle of the "line" relative to the horizon....does that jibe at all with the ISS location...the azimuth, as would be observed from San Jose (even IF it was there, at that time and location on orbit)......

I really think people need to see this. Im really surprised nasa didnt hit the kill switch on this. Granted the video is long but it only takes about a half a minute before the lights come on.

Im not sure what the guy is doing through the middle of the video,but this was taken 2-3-11 at 8:30 Arizona mt. time.

So any clues what that is in the beginning of the video? Im still watching it, but wanted to get it on here quick for you folks to see. He does fast forward around the 12:30 mark and they still appear to be there. I dont know judge for yourself.

edit to add: When I got to the end of the video it also showed that at the same time those lights appeared behind the space station something also appeared over San Jose California and it shows pictures of that as well. So you might want to fast forward to the end to see that around the 22:00 mark. Pretty weird.

My first question would be Where is the camera that is shooting this? We are looking at the space station so where is the camera? What is it mounted to or who is holding it? Or is this through a telescope?

I have watched lots of live feeds of the space station, but I guess I never really thought about that part of it. Im assuming the pros around here can answer it though!
