The debunkers holistic conclusions and how they've been patronizing those of us who don't understand video editing, see a connection between multiple hoax videos and a cover up, and are skeptical about certain media reports and sites being taken down...is just annoying.

Agree to disagree. But stop being so cocky. It does not help out what you're trying to say.

I will say this, though, if there was a cover up - the still photograph being a hoax makes sense. But why would the government give more attention to sighting by releasing new videos, you know? So, that's why it's good to look at the whole picture...not just your own "brilliant" video analysis.

I think you either have 2 situations:
there's only 1 hoax (the still image), or they're all hoaxes

-Then again, I think here too I'm making too many assumptions. Again, it comes down to each individual piece, and until I understand video editing myself, or some kind of panel of professional video editors get together to examine it all - maybe a show coming up - I have to keep my mind somewhat open.

They are all hoaxes....

This hoax was over the second it came out... the only people who carried it on are the hard core believers, and the people who don't know much about optics, light, geometry, computer generated graphics, video, and photography.

I agree with you so far. That is what the evidence tells us so far. But when dealing with subjective video analysis and multiple videos, there is room for doubt. Until all of you so-called video experts have some sort of professional reputation I can check out, I can only take your analysis for what it is...just that, an analysis. So, you guys are invaluable and we have to rely on you. But for you to think it's smart for people to just follow your opinions blindly...well that in itself is stupid. I've gotten you to explain some stuff pretty clearly - finally - that I think will help people go the hoax route. But in being so dismissing of other points of topic, and claiming that you guys are like some holy grail of video analysis, well it just makes you seem like A holes. I'm sorry. You're not helping the anti-hoaxers is all. You're only making yourself seem like you're part of some cover up inside job, hahahaha, and I know you don't want that!

OH and please keep in mind that I only entertained cover up ideas because I thought the media reporting of it was suspcious, a revealign blog vanished with no trace or explanation seconds as it was going around on Twitter, and this very thread vanished for hours last night. Probably all coincidences. But it's not like I'm just making # up...when you're investigating something, and 2 sites you look at disappear like that, you just sort of entertain that idea more..

If another site goes down, for instance, I will probably start looking at this again more. It's only natural.

ANW is banned from ATS because ANW is a HOAX website that only produces stories to lure you into visiting their website. M.C. is a liar, and is not to be trusted.

ANW leaches onto every UFO, real or fake, and uses it to gather website hits. They spam there links on message boards too.

I think one reason I'm harping on this case like I am - despite the fact that I'm pretty convinced its all some big hoax - is because I don't like the style of thought that goes around here.

If there are alien visitations/real UFO sightings going on like we all imagine, then the world governments clearly know something. And they haven't told us. So, there's just as likely a cover up going on as there isn't a cover up going on - in general, regarding ET/UFO.

So, if we the people are going to take this into our own hands and continue to debunk hoaxers and bring to light legit footage/evidence, we've got to start thinking more strategically. Because we can assume the powers that be are always going to be trying to discredit, confuse, and distract us.

It's okay to try to look at what's happening around you and try to make connections. Sometimes you're going to make something out of nothing. But sometimes you're going to come across those amazing clues or details or first-time web leaks that give you the ammunition and focus you need to investigate more.

So, keep your imaginations going - let it guide your investigation. Without that, we have no chance.

Well sorry but I have to disagree. Just because he has reported some hoax stories doesn't mean all of his stories are hoaxes. He has produced many UFO articles that are genuine and can be backed up by other sources.

That said, I think ATS is being hypocritical by not allowing people to decide for themselves and banning certain websites. Is ATS trying to take after Nazi Germany?

That's the "original" full length footage of "video four," which was apparently removed from the original hoaxer's YouTube account a couple days ago. Thanks for posting that, it represents the "nail in the coffin" of this hoax, and clearly shows the temple mount footage was not shot by the same camera used within the vehicle.

that was one of the leading reports from the media - that it was a marketing stunt. early on. even though it makes no sense. some media is still reporting this.

Start by not believing something is real until it is proven real.

If you have been involved with UFOlogy as long as I, you would understand there is a constant influx of hoax UFOs created for various reasons.

Along with there being theories of a UFO cover up, there is also theories that the government and or other groups are going to fake a UFO visitation, and fake contact with aliens or powerful entities with demands, or fake contact with gods or angels etc., and or fake having some powerful weapons capabilities....

Unless you want to be fooled... it's best to not believe something unless you can prove it is real. So far, with this Jerusalem HOAX, there is just a few videos on YouTube from 2 different angles. Nothing substantial or could even nearly be called real exists with this HOAX.

I'm sorry but I'm one of the few people on this board who is okay with saying I don't freaking know. I don't believe anything yet.

Strategic thinking - as if you had a business competitor - is getting inside minds of government or hoaxers or what have you...toying with possibilities, adn fully investigating those possibilities. if there was a hoax video cover up, it's just plain and simple - you'd want to make sure all videos are for sure 100% fake before you can 100% rule out cover up.

It's not about believing one way or the other. It's about thinking outside the box in the face of a potential UFO/ET cover up that has been possibly going on for a long time now.

And also you contradicted your own advice.

You want me to believe your video analysis and not the other original videos at face value. I do take your video analysis over that, but come on...you're just some random person I just met on the Internet. Don't patronize me. You could be a debunker hired by the government, and your videos could be the misleading ones...I don't think this is the case at all. I'm appreciative of the work you guys do here at ATS. So what happened.......did the IDF send letters out to everyone in Jerusalem and forbid any eyewinesses to come forward?
And what about the visiting tourists are they being detained in Israel for fear that they may spill the beens when returning to their home countries.
Have the IDF cut off the internet connection in Jerusalem?

Again why on Earth would people who didn't see anything come forward?

I don't want you to believe my video analysis, I just want you to see it, and acknowledge the analysis, and do your own tests, and your own analysis and observations, and try to confirm the analysis your self..... do you know anything about the scientific process??

My analysis is not some extraordinary event like a UFO over a religious temple which requires extraordinary proof to confirm. It's just pointing out obvious issues that you can confirm your self, and if you can refute them, go for it.... My analysis have only been confirmed by many groups, and the majority agree.... They don't just blindly believe, they actually see the analysis and understand, then agree...

You people are incredible... how can you not understand this??
