We are talking about men who will do anything to have their name out there connected to any incident, even if they have to hi-jack a complete strangers video evidence. Isn't that what has happened here?

They seem to me to be terribly desperate to attach themselves to ANY incident when media attention may be garnered, especially if it is something seemingly real. I mean, their purpose is to make money, right. If they can manage to get in on the ground floor of a sighting like this and attach themselves to it from the start, then their names are forever associated with it, real or hoax.

That's their M.O, ain't it?

Of course I have considered this...But you must find it a little strange that NO Israeli news source has picked up the story, except for one that calls crackpots space experts. It is also suspect that Michael Cohen is the only person that has actually talked to one of the up-loaders. I can't decide, let alone prove whether or not these videos are hoaxes. I can however, provide any info I find and I consider this quite a juicy tidbit. Until I posted the Israeli news link, most on this forum thought Israel wan't even covering the story.

I don't know how I feel about these videos, but I DO think it's a shame that because those opportunistic leeches have attached themselves to this incident and are more than willing to be in the public eye that so many here dismiss it out of hand.

I also appreciate every piece of evidence and research that has been done tus far, both for and against. It's the only way to be able to come to any decision.

The charlatans don't care if it's true or not. They will accept whatever attention this brings to them, good or bad. These men are what the term "media whore" was coined for!

I have to respectfully disagree with your view that no evidence of deception has been offered by the members here.

On various pages of posts throughout this thread you can find evidence of deception. None of it is 100% conclusive, yet. Can you rebut any of the evidence displayed by the members that these are infact questionable videos?

It would be nice to see the thread continue with confident, concise replies to the evidence offered enlightening members of the hoaxery that may be at play... my new word for the day = Hoaxery

There are just so many things about this "incident" that don't add up, both in the videos and outside of them. You don't even really need to watch the videos to get a jist of whether the sighting is real or a hoax.

Not a single person (that I've noticed) has come forth to say "I saw this!". Usually, after even a small sighting people sign up to ATS just to say they witnessed something and to find out more. Not in this case, just masses of debate amongst members and no viable written witness statements. No reports to MUFON. I mean, this is an ORB over the middle of a CITY in the EVENING above a MOSQUE or something and so few people saw it/report it? Faaake!

All the clips IMO are rubbish. The original "man on cell phone" not only has dodgy blurs at the bottom and right hand side which make it look more like it's been green-screened than anything else. The other clips appear to be taken from the SAME angle. A group of friends worked on this, individual people about Jerusalem did NOT witness it.

My theory is this: That car full of people (and girl) all took cameras of different types with them, all stood in about the same area. One person zoomed in, one person stood and got a brightish phone camera shot and the other person stood back a bit and filmed that guy getting the bright shot. Later they synced it all up and added the glowing and falling orb, made it look like different witnesses. All the clips are from exactly the same vantage point*. Let alone the scrutinized audio which has obviously been tampered with.

Note - I'm a big believer and have many experiences, but it's pretty obvious how a REAL sighting formulates over the internet, and this has NONE of the characteristics of a real sighting in terms of how it makes press on sites like this and elsewhere.

"Is there more than one witness? Are other witnesses coming forward? Do the witnesses seem genuinely shocked or in awe by this?" - the answer seems to be pretty much "no". And "whoa" doesn't count as an in-awe or shock

Anyway I hope it isn't long until this incident dies and ****'s off so we can get back to focusing on real events that are witnessed by genuine folk.

* After re-reading some posts this may not be entirely accurate.

I would require some evidence that its a hoax. Actually solid evidence of a hoax.

Audio from 1 source taken on 2 cellphones is not evidence.

People show evidence that NASA has doctored images of things like the moon landing, people don't believe that NASA is telling the truth.

People show evidence that these footages have been doctored. People still insist these are true events being shown


So answer me this then, What reason would explain WHY both videos used the same audio track that was RECORDED from video 1? If you could just give 1 example that plausible, I'll delete my youtube video.

I love this UFO story; it is the pure of ATS at its most awesome.

My only bit to add is that seeing as how this occurred right in the middle of Jerusalem, there has to be some reliable security camera footage that should show evidence of the UFO if it is real. Though they may not be pointed at the sky, the flash made by the UFO in the original vids would surely be noticeable.

Ever get the feeling that the TPTB are testing the waters to see what people will accept? They have it on all the major networks right now, next will be the shows discussing all the "new planets" ET's etc. I personally think hoax although at first glance it was impressive. Maybe someone is just seeing what they can get away with as far as cgi goes?

Sheesh, maybe I shouldn't say that, someone might think I am being serious and start using it as a tool to disprove any audio evidence of possible deception,

Funny you say that now. I mentioned something to this effect earlier. That maybe the Utah event was real and this Jerusalem even was staged, to guage reaction and possibly test technology available to produce such an event. Seems less and less likely as many of the members continue to pick small pieces off the whole.

Picking one apple at a time doesn't seem like much, until you look down the ladder and see the giant pile apples on the ground.

None of the "6 witnesses" now have come forward. Not one? It absolute BS! This makes my blood boil, what the heck is wrong with people? And these kids that pulled this off will get noticed by someone at their school or their place of worship and someone will will talk. Names will get out and the word travels fast. Hoaxes always brag sooner or later as they embellish in the lols as they are right now. I think they realize they opened Pandoras box and they will have to sooner or later explain their motives for a hoax. I can imagine in the not too distant future these kids will announce the hoax and make a public apology.

The UFO subject will be second guessed even more while Charlatans use it as their personal cash cow. Basset will have a Circus show with hoaxers of lore in sabotaging any credence exopolitics had. The blind believers screaming THIS IS REAL and YOU CANT DEBUNK IT! Will once again regroup and wait for the next believable hoax to be born.

At first I was very impressed with the footage, then skeptical. With each new revelation of purely scientific data from people that have actual experiance with CGI, I would have to say I am leaning closer to the hoax side of the fence now. While some of this evidence has been disproven (ie. the whole horizon episode), others are not as easily disproven or haven' t been yet. The answer is out there (to coin a phrase), and we are getting closer to it.

I read much of the other thread and am happy to see that this has returned to the table for debate! Though I did not comment in the other thread, I would like to say something about the last video posted.

If it's fake, it has to be good CGI work. The flashes before it takes off look very authentic. You can actually see that the object is illuminating the ground below it. It's hard to discern until it takes off, and isn't visible in the first couple videos posted. In the last video, you can see the light below it "recede" or "retreat" when the object shoots into the sky. I know that's been said before, but it's a cool effect that has me puzzled from a layman's standpoint.

Yes all these news media sites are announcing this with footage that was debunked such as video 3. Video 3 is an obvious hoax then the others. You see the lack of research and investigation that goes in to this kind of thing is testament of how ignorant the media is about the subject. I just have to lol at the footage of the photo on the computer screen is making it's rounds at FOX now
