Israeli News Broadscast Translation Effort - Removed?

I was very disheartened when I excitedly logged on this morning to see if any leeway had been gained in translation efforts of one particular Israeli News Broadcast. The reason they said they removed it was because the video of the news broadcast was ANW but I had stated clearly that the material to be focused on was the broadcast itself and its translation. The post also had many valuable resources posted by other members concerning news articles in the Hebrew language being translated, if it couldn't be more clear that our focus was not ANW.

I am very displeased towards the action given with the reason provided. My question is if this is how ATS usually goes about things?

I believe the dictatorship of don't ask cause we won't tell goes on every now and then around here and you might be booted for something because it might be deemed offensive by someone or something.

Challenge the government, question reality and seek the truth but in Thor's name never ask of ATS!!

i agree. the ATS mods seem to be wearing Brown Shirts lately. Perhaps they could tone it down a notch?

Its a good thing that I'm not worried at all about my reputation, amounts of stars and flags, or anything else for that matter. I am simply invested in investigation, after all that is what finds the truth. So I'm fine with the boot if it comes, I can always log on at another location under another name to launch another investigation. The truth will not elude those who seek it. Thanks again for the help!

Wow! They closed it! Well I'm sorry everyone, I've lost all trust in ATS moderators. Perhaps the people of ATS should break off and create their own forum free of Moderator tyranny... I think I might just do that

Wow I did some research for that thread. Now it is gone? Doesn't seem right. I think this is what happens when other members come into a thread and derail it. The thread had to do with translating the Hebrew news cast.

The topic is alive and active in A&U HERE.

Post all comments regarding the topic (not complaints) on that thread.
