In my opinion, ATS is going nowhere fast.

Too many people, including mods and admin:

are way too quick to hoist the HOAX flag (UFO over Jerusalem for example)

way too quick to silence members who question events

are way to quick to turn to fallacies.



With that said, I still visit and post, but not with the frequency or enthusiasm I used too.

Few are here to deny ignorance. Many are here to push an agenda.

I have to say though, it is loads better than the other conspiracy site that shall not be named.

Where is ATS headed? Right to the dust bin of another failed site. This place is a joke, not because of the content but because of the moderators and the owner not doing their jobs. These people lecture us about what is not tolerated, but then allow one person in the 2012 forum to treat everyone and everything 2012 like his own personal bitchdown forum, he calls everyone stupid, idiots, asses regarding everything 2012 and ATS does nothing because apparently that person is on the pay roll or thats just how ATS rolls... people complain and ATS does nothing but remove someone else's post who has had enough of that person horrible attitude... this website obviously believes we exist to serve it, and that we have the privilege to come to there website.... which is laughable, but it show just how backwards everything is... there was a time when businesses understood having customers is the privilege. The only reason I'm even making this comment is the hope ATS will stop the rudeness wherever it exists.... if not then I'll take my information/comments/business somewhere else, us coming here is how ATS gets paid, and then ATS can go straight to hell for all I'll care.

Seeing how the creators of any thread actually own all original content, why doesn't ATS give the thread creator banning or post removal authority? That would allow the creator of that thread to direct his own thread, yet also make him responsible if it gets out of hand... I believe if you're going to complain you should have a solution or why are you even complaining about it.

Yeah I have noticed the same...

I used to use this place to bounce the ball of the wall so to speak.
It was such an intelligent community.

I don't want to say much bad, cause there is some good too, I love the humor.
It's just you don't realise how good you have it until it's gone.
I think the sites new mainstream road is killing the REG's.
So if anyone wknows any other good places link it up.
I'm on the lookout for a new "home" haha

Not quiet as adament as you but I do see your point. I guess what did it for me (in regard to ATS's integrity) was the bernard snitzel post. Are you familiar with that? Long story - here's the short version. Guy comes on ATS, new poster, says he's an 84 year old who witnessed Roswell. You know the set-up, I've got this great secret, flag my butt to hell, and I'll tell you in time. So, this guy gets tons of responses, flags up the ying yang. Some people calling him crap, others line up to the teat. Guess who lined up for the teat? ATS Live! They posted an invite to this guy to come on ATS Live and tell his story. Well, the guy finally starts resonding to the post, and it's obvious it's some 15 year old (he's got helicopters surrounding the site, this is in 1946). I look back in the thread for the ATS Live post - and it's gone. They removed it.

If you had integrity, you leave your misguided post up, and explain, in a new post, by the author, why the offer was no longer going to be honored.

So, I asked a couple of questions, and I figured I might get some answers from a mod maybe. I think I've figured it out.

Someone should go to where ever you make predictions and predict a news blog and how it's promotion of the story of a nation wide protest in america on a certain 10th anniversary. ;-)
