And if the wind is blowing right someone on the ground would not hear what was coming.

Have you guys not played bf2, its easy to sneak up on infantry in an attack helo. I do it all the time. Its called not being aware of your surroundings.

A fact that I think also accounts for a lot of UFO 'bright light in the sky AND OMG NO SOUND' sightings
