OK, here's the question: if you knew you were about to die, what song would you want to listen to at the very end?

My choice would be "Trains" by Porcupine Tree.

Good choice!

I'd probably have something ethereal like this...

Kinda eerie!

Thanks for responding...if nothing else, I've found some great (new to me) tunes.

damwel...that's a great song, never get tired of listening to it. Now, did you give that as your 'last song' because you like it, or is there a connection with the lyrics ("meet the new boss...same as the old boss")?

You said it!

read more than one conspiracy.

Wow, so many great tunes here! I feel like making a movie with these songs as the soundtrack...thanks everyone for sharing your "death songs" with me. I'm always keeping an ear open for new sounds, new bands, etc.

@davidgrouchy: are you the artist? Is this your work? Video was worth watching over again.

@andy1033: I thought I knew all the great Nirvana tunes, but you gave me a new one. Good song!

@plutoxgirl: interesting choice, much lighter than most of the others listed here...guess you're not as sombre as the rest of us.

@tribewilder: Can't go wrong with Floyd...classic stuff. Are you into Porcupine Tree? Very Floyd-influenced.

@Nosred: Love the multiple choice answers! Hopefully you'll live to a ripe old age and listen to Frankie.

@Lipanconjuring86: thanks, no problems with the embedding...here it is for anyone who wants to hear Antimatter. I like this song lots, plan to give the rest of the album a listen.

This is probably what I would want to hear. I dunno the chorus its what I would like to say in my words if I could tell them it. So why not tell myself it.

This tune always makes me laugh, so probably a good choice if it was the end...

Only kurt cobain could of sang that song, hear it played in concert and see the feeling he puts into it.
