it is getting faster but not by a big amount. the reversal does start slow then changes over rapidly but as far as i know we are still in early stages.

Well were not looking at the end of the world but I can tell you this. You might want to were sunblock, im not sure if the field will still protect us from the suns rays or not. Your compass will point in another direction. No the space shuttle will not land in LA like in that one movie. No pacemakers will not shut down. But there is a chance that birds will act very strangley. But I think we should be ok unless we some how speed up the process because in that case anything could happen.
