To answer your question, I poured hot water in from our coffee machine which has that option, so it was never microwaved. It was a cheapie mug and I'll have to check if it was made in China. Who knows? But the more I look at the photos, the more it creeps me out.

Thanks BD! You can take a measure of the blame as you skillfully set that up. I didn't make it, I found it. You can find anything on the Internet. If you can think it, you'll find it. Even that! How sweet is that?

You're a gentleman & thank you, but a picture speaks a thousand words... whereas a video detracts from most that would be followed by a question mark.

Anyhoo, I couldn't remember where I'd seen the dog's arse Jesus, so, to find it, I used Google Image Search with the term "Jesus dog rear". I've relatively recently been introduced to the concept of "Rule 34" (I lead a sheltered nerdy eLife), so I just had a quick look @the results from adding "porn" to the search term. I wasn't impressed.

I suppose that now the meme's out there, we'll just have to wait for Rule 35 to kick in. Who knows? If it does, it may cause riots in America & then we'll have a Breaking Alternative News thread to giggle over... until I get banned for being the instigator & dragging ATS into disrepute!

The fact that you think it may have been purchased that way authenticates the creepiness of it. If you insist, call the R&R Hall of Fame and see if they are available. If they are, then I would really be freaked out.

Ted Nugent, now that would be cool!

I might - it seems that the pic is too big (4.2 MB) to allow it to be added....it times out and gives me an error - and using satellite internet doesn't help...the storm is slowing me down tonight here on the PA/Ohio border

How funny is that? Could be a "Mugapalooza" tour in this. The "mug of destiny"!

Its you. I had a similar experience whilst zoned out. I thought I saw an alien, but then realised that it was simply myself on a higher plane of existence. Every time my feelings changed, the image changed as well, as I would imagine on such a plane, our physical forms would become more malleable.

When I originally said that, I meant just to get the picture up there so it would have a URL to link to, and then the OP could have just posted a link so we could see the "mugshot".

And then I wondered if you could embed pictures from photobucket instead of just linking to it.

And I tried it... ALOT.

And failed miserably. LOL

ATS uses img tags, which can be copied and pasted from photobucket, which is why I thought it might work. But I was wrong, which happens a lot.

So, I guess it isn't possible? Maybe ATS doesn't like photobucket? Not too sure...

I guess it DOES work after all! Just copy the IMG code from photobucket and paste it in the reply box. I didn't think it was going to work because the picture didn't show up when I hit the preview button.

It was some type of organic (no this is not a misspelling of a similiar word with an "s" and an "m" instead of the "n" in it) brand. When I get time I'll take a photo of the empty packet and another identical mug. There aren't even ingredients listed on the packet, but there was a date from 2008 - I wonder if that was the manufactured date or expiration date

So what are your plans?

1. Have it sent to a lab for analysis?
2. Have it sealed with clear epoxy resin?
3. Sell it in ebay?
4. Start a new religion?
5. Wash it and reuse?

This has been a very entertaining thread and I'm feeling somewhat attached to the mug and seek closure.

Just kurious.
