Students Take To Streets For Cuts Protest

Thousands of protesters angry at education cuts have taken to the streets in London and Manchester, with some clashing with police.

A small group at the northern demonstration left the scheduled route and ran towards the city centre.

Around 150, some wearing balaclavas, were involved in ugly scenes as they wrestled with police on the ground.
