No offense to the owners an operators, it was this sites success that made it what it is. A static, politically correct, dead end where all conspiracy theories will eventually end up.

It's quite a website-I totally agree with you.

The breaking news comes out faster than any other media source or website that I know of, which I find amazing (but now I see it as more mundane for ATS).

I believed when I signed on this website as a mid-aged teenager that my interest in this site would die out in less than a year. After a year and half or two, I didn't really post too much or visit the site, but the past months and months I've been visiting (posting very little however) every day because this site allows me to get to now how the world works, the most current events, and secrets the people in power (aka TPTB) are concealing.

Of course there will always be people who will create threads based on total lies, but it's usually quite easy to see through the people who hoax and the people who are not quite the most intelligent.

Actually, ATS does have ads. Just look near the large ATS logo at the top of the page or sometimes there are other types of ads on occasion.
It may just be the type of internet browser you are using. I don't know, but it's seems strange you don't see any ads. I mean a website as big as this one can easily profit quite a bit form advertisements.

I would also like to ad, in response to the few comments mentioning advertisements- When I first found this site, a few weeks ago, before i joined, I did see Ads in between replies within the thread.
Thankfully, that is not a burden which we have to view after becoming members.

I wish i could remember the exact Ad I first noticed, the article was about Corexit, and the ad itself was something very ironic and troubling, to be in that thread, but dangit I can't remember what it was now. oh well.

I like ATS, and have no problem with the ads. Ads keep websites going. Radio, TV, cable TV, and even Satellite radio are deluged with constantly distracting ads. At least on here, I for one am not bothered by the ads.

I agree this website is very cool. Our society is so dumbed-down with American Idol, ESPN, and CNN, it is refreshing to be able to view and interact with an entirely different community.
