ATS loading very slowly over last hour

Over the last hour ATS is taking forever to load for me. Loading the newly posted topics or just going into and out of each thread is taking forever. I just wondered if any one else was having this trouble? My computer usually runs very fast and I do not normally have this kind of trouble?

Same here..I'm guessing it has something to do with tons of people getting out of work, going home, and turning to ATS for answers on this Egypt madness.

Same here...Transferring, connecting, waiting, repeat about 20 times then..I'm in!

It's flying for me, pages load as fast as ever. What OS you running? I am running a proxy too, and that always makes it slower. Must be your machine, or your OS.

Yea that's what mines is doing too. It keeps saying loading, loading, like ten times and then I get in. I just check my youtube acct and it is as fast as ever?? Same with my other sites. Seems just ATS.

Mine's fine, fwiw. But I've been logged in all day. If that matters to anyone looking for a problem.

Probably my fault

I just did a disk clean up yesterday and ran my security scan and all was good to go. Not sure what proxy means. Explain and I'll try to tell you?

I am always logged in. I never log out. Keep it up all the time, guess I am looking for trouble also. HA HA

Yeah mine has been slow, I was trying to post to my new thread that I create about Egypt and the NWO, but it was taking forever! Good to hear that I am not alone, I thought it might have been my laptop as it's a peice of crap but obviously it's an ATS thing....

Is this happening in certain areas? or is it for everyone?

If it's for everyone then it's because everyone is trying to talk about all this Egypt stuff, if it's region specific then a conspiracy may be in order, lol...

Yeah.....It's just annoying. Going to go over and watch some youtube, and see if I come back later it clears up. I know its not my computer, and if it's everyone trying to get into the Egypt info I would think youtube would be running slow also??? Tons of downloads there about it but it seems fine?

I keep getting hung up on some ad media also.

If you're using Firefox, try switching the browser to Chrome or Opera, often runs a lot faster and block Flash for awhile (so no video downloads in the threads) see if it makes a difference.

I agree its some kind of ad media and it also keeps saying google search at the bottom. What does that mean? Did ATS start a new advertising system today or something?? How do we get rid of it?????

Any MOD's care to comment or give any info on this problem? Is it a local thing or a site wide thing? Just thought you might could help us out??

sounds like it's getting re-routed somewhere before it comes here, which poses an interesting question, why is it getting re-routed somewhere else first? kinda sounds like someone wants to see what it being posted on here before it gets to the ATS servers, then it can be deleted... I see a conspiracy brewing!

I would completely agree with that. It does seems to circulating through some kind of google thing before post show up on ATS....weird?? I just want it to stop. It's driving me nuts.
