sounds to me like Obama is playing both sides in public.
He is still supporting Mubarek. He says he
will work with that authority, plus the fact
that if Mubarek is ousted, US Aid will
cease (another article). So basically,
this is political side stepping.

And did u hear him ask Mubarek to cut
internet and cell phones back on.
Do you know why???

The US Agents there cannot report
updates. That makes Americas' intelligence
blind as a bat.

Wow I really didn't even think of that...but it does make perfect sense. Yeah I know politicians usually play the fence but he is definitely doing a great job of it with this situation.

I don't have to be a christian to be Nazi-like. I wouldn't have anything to worry about because Hitler never would have been able to extend his power beyond killing jews in the first place, so you're wrong. You should kill yourself instead for being a bigoted prick

Are you insane? Really..have you read anything about the nazi's?

Who was on the chopping block:
Well, the Jews were offically systematically being destroyed, however, the outline was clear after that as to who was going next

Blacks

The fate of black people from 1933 to 1945 in Nazi Germany and in German-occupied territories ranged from isolation to persecution, sterilization, medical experimentation, incarceration, brutality, and murder.

Arabs

Hitler seen the arab people as racially inferior.

Also, islam is a democracy. There is no room for any sort of democracy in a national socialism imposed worldwide, especially from people of inferior blood and mindset (non christian)

I could go on and do this big research post, but why bother...you can be racist if you want...I simply don't understand (nor care to) the draw to it. If it makes you happy, go with it.

I've heard that there were Jewish Nazi soldiers, and Black Nazi soldiers. Is this true?

boy this thread has gone off topic lol

The current government is a threat to national security.

I wonder if the internet being shutoff in Egypt has anything to do with the speech?

The amount of hypocrisy by President Obama makes nauseous, literally. It makes me sick how he talks about restoring the Internet yet is trying to get an Internet kill switch here. It makes me sick how he says the gov't should listen to the people yet that's not really what the USA does here. It makes me sick how he promotes democracy yet we have tyranny here...

Wanted to make sure everyone knows...Go turn on your TV and let's see where this is going.

Fox news 100% is carrying the speech...not sure who else but that is definite.

For folks that are not in the US try Al Jazeera. Al Jazeera Live Stream

Edit: To add sources to watch it.

UPDATE = 2 minutes!!!!!

UPDATE = Speech over

Obama:

-First concern = prevent injury and death
-Human rights are number one priority for the United States
-Egypt government must refrain from using violence
-Egypt needs concrete reform
-Egypt President told Obama he was not leaving in a conversation they just had. He is going to tough it out.

Got that out of it...

This was quite funny

Everything he was telling Egypt they should NOT be doing, his OWN Government was or has already done to the USA.

Do as I Say, not as I Do

Reform.. of course. I suppose you're going to propose a new legislation that creates jobs, reduces the deficit by 400 billion and protects national security?
What about these freedoms and rights for the American people? He never seems to mention that as a priority for us.
And Pharaoh, how are you so sure the Egyptian people even want a government?

Omar Suleiman (Head of Intelligence) has just been sworn in as new Vice President. Ahmad Shafiq (former Aviation Chief of Staff) has just been sworn in as new Prime Minister.

Egyptians not happy with both those sworn in.

Mubarak REFUSES to step down.

No, that has nothing to do with it. If the U.S. had lost WW2 and Hitler had gained control, this country would just be different and Nazi-like, which I wouldn't mind at all. The internet would still be here for all to use, except jews. They would just be extinct.

That is total nonsense,if Hitler would have gotten the A-bomb and nobody else did.The Nazis would have possibly taken over the entire planet. He was not gonna stop at the jews.He learned to use jewish propaganda to get into power. It is True, He wanted to wipe out all jews, but He would have went further for world domination.

I was just talking to someone about this. How ludicrous that we have unemployed, unhealthy people with an economy that is still barely hanging on with an out-of-control deficit and talks of cutting SS and Medicare, vet benefits, not to mention cuts that have already happened in the education sector and here we are giving BILLIONS away to foreign countries. Keep it here. Quit looking at ways to save money by cutting our own programs and start keeping our money here. We shouldn't be having conversations about cuts to these programs without FIRST talking about cutting foreign "aid".

In my opinion, the only time we should be giving aid to any foreign country is if it is a matter of life and death, as in natural disasters and purely humanitarian aid. Giving money to Israel and Egypt, for example, to build an army is completely ludicrous.

Al Jazeera is doing a pretty darn good job; been watching the streets of Cairo for hours with live stream.

Obama is playing a dangerous game; he has to choose now which side he supports. The USA should stay out of this one and let the Egyptians decide their own fate.
