The facts have been confirmed, but not by you. It was confirmed by the mainstream media.

For what ever poor reasoning, you not only decided to not listen to the evidence, but you actively and persistently tried to persuade people it was wrong.

I listened to the evidence, and also added "missing VX" to my list of possible guesses as to why the base was closed. I openly admitted time and time again that it was possible.

But I see...I was supposed to say-

WHAT!? A TWEET!? ON GPL!? HOLY COW THAT IS THE TRUTH!

I'll remember that when the 5 millionth hoax comes rumbling through these halls. Thanks for the tip.

And further more, I didn't try to persuade anyone. I recommended we wait for details before stamping the "proven fact logo" on a random tweet found in cyber space. I guess that sounds like terrible tactics to you?

You should just go ahead and turn in your ATS card now for encouraging ignorance in the face of those who were actively denying ignorance.

No factual evidence as of yet. I salute the research being done here, and understand the need for speculation. But lets be clear on what IS confirmed and what is not.

If you want my guess work, here it is in order of what I "guess" is more likely.

read the thread. It was a vial of VX.. it was misplaced then found... and Dugs doesnt specialize in bio or chem weapons.. it holds some, but its main function is conventional weaponry. They came out and admitted it was a misplaced vial of VX already.. though it could be the rage virus.. or alien technology.

the 1st part of my freak out day which was ok really was a dream i had before awakening at 00:00 EST as in in uk was a dream about being in an old building and a (lol) zombie invasion occured,i had to shoot the girl i had feelings for in the dream in the head when she got bitten.then later as i was peering through the gap in the door i saw her on top on the staircase neer a cupboard. i shouted out her name "preston" she came running down the stairs i shouted "stop" which she did.then i called to her "quick" & told her i had to tell her to stop & then told her i had to shoot her in the head "which i know i did" she said "its ok i know".

Guys I worked with went to this base -out there - and said it was a very strange place. They referred to it as that weird place up past Salt Lake, I am not sure why some of our guys would go out there. I wonder where they "found" the missing agent? From 5:30pm - 3:00am where was it? I find it interesting people slept in their cars in Northern Utah in Jan. They must have been locked out of of offices too, and not just locked down on base. People out there probably don't even know what is going on. I've seen something like that before - I arrived at work one day to find a truck backed up and parked in front of the supply office, inside an Air Craft Hanger - on purpose because the doors opened out, the guys that worked there were white as sheets coming in that day to discover they couldn't get in their office. Nobody knew what the heck was going on, or what exactly went down. Rumors of course. We still don't know what happened. The guys that worked there - were totally removed from the base later that day.
This happened shortly after I checked into that unit. The day I checked in the Squadron was full of Security Forces escorting all the Officer Staff out - they had all been fired (re-assigned) in one day. It was a wild scene of stern looking people leaving with copy paper boxes full of their junk, their I Love me wall crap - as I made my way around with my check in sheet. The next day - all new officers came in from all over to fill the slots and the unit didn't even miss a mission day. It was the wildest thing I ever witnessed in my career. The basic story although we'll never know for sure involved theft of government property and porn and wife swapping stories. Oh and unauthorized use of Air Craft to fly to football games as such. But none of us really know. All those busted that still talked told different tales. So chances are very good many people ON THIS base won't know what happened either, yeah we'll get a press release but it will be only PART of the story.

I just read a news story about this located at the following sites all mentioning a Tweet from inside the facility stating that a vial of VX was missing. I also read that they will make an official statement later this afternoon. So based on this I am willing to bet that we will get a cover story along the lines of There was a report of a missing vial of a chemical agent during a routing inventory. However, we later found the missing vial and were able to release staff and resume normal operations. I am more more then sure you will not get 100% truth from this probably more along the lines of 50/50. The real question will be if the tweet was real did they really find it?

I wouldn't be worried about the base going into lockdown. I'm a veteran, and remember unannounced drills and such all the time. I would be worried if the government started quarrantining areas around the base though.

It's funny how some of you people automatically think the worst is happening when something like this appears in the news. In my Army days our base was put on lock down several times. Once because someone was seen throwing something over the wall that went along the main road outside the base. Turns out it was just an empty soda bottle. Another time because a child went missing from the on post daycare... she walked off while the staff was distracted by other children. Lock downs happen more often than people realize...

SHush.. dont tell em that. When I did I was called a disinfo agent and some other name I cant remember.

ANyway, read up.. they misplaced and found a vial of vx. I think the problem here is that we're on a conspiracy website and not too many here know how it all works on base. lost/misplaced versus stolen or gone.. and they have no clue about protocol when something is "missing".. regardless if its a vial of vx or a personal weapon. Now Im being told a p5 base is something like athe illuminati headquarters.. when its just a designation.. pretty odd!

Speaking of foreign military here for training.. or special ogling the local teenagers ops.. thats something that has totally exploded at the base the husband works at now. I mean they come in by the hundreds... and this isnt a usual base youd see any real ops training of any kind. Ive never seen it at this high of a level in our entire lives being on bases everywhere. Pretty weird. Im going to freak out myself if I see a ton of UN guys stumbling around like I do other mil..

Anyway, foreign commandos coming here for training is standard ops. We go over there to do the same. It is very beneficial because during a real op you can be on the same page and work together.

There is a fine line between preparedness and paranoia. Fear is not helpful but it is an obstacle which causes poor judgement.

I am honestly shocked right now at where my investigating led me on this one.
I was only accessing public information.
Now that this tweet is a subject of the news where does that leave me?

I think the facts were confirmed by the military itself. Which was reported by the MSM. They didn't do the investigating, they might have tried, but they didn't get as far as some astute people in this thread.

We probably won't ever hear anything about it again. The military will lean on the MSM to sweep it under the rug.
I could be wrong, but I'll be shocked if the fact they lost and allegedly recovered some VX nerve agent is reported on any MSM television news programs today. Maybe there will be a 10 line column in the NY Times tomorrow, buried on page 35. Even if they did successfully recover it, they look bad.

I just figured we arent at odds with other countries as some might wish to believe.. KWIM? we have their mil here in joint ops and training from everything from fieldwork to our security ops and computer stuff. I dont freak out easily.. been around too long I guess.. but it is very odd that we have so many now in the last maybe 10 years or so. A lot of branching out and cooperation it seems. Good or bad? I guess it depends on where we allow ourselves to be lead in the future.
