No opting out of Facebook turning your check-ins, likes into ads

Well there are T & C. Also it is FREE. You do not have to post there. I click a like next to the blendtec page, as an example. I do like their blenders. So if that like is used , so what, I DO like it.

If there is something I like that I do not want others to know, I do not post it on ANY public forum.

So I do not get the issue. Now if you are PAYING for facebook, then by all means complain.
