Secret Facebook Search Engine

you guys do know that spacebook has been rumored to be setting up it's own search engine right? some people speculated as to whether or not this was project titan, or what ever. it's rumored, due to the amount of people on spacebook, it could probably put google out of the picture. maybe it's just some sort of phishing exercise to start logging the most widely used spacebook linked sites.... or something. i'm not a big computer guy.. just a potential explanation

Ah now that title might have been a bit more accurate (if a little less interesting). I refer you to my previous questions as to whether Faceboock performs a search only on links posted on profiles or whether it also does it with links exchanged during a private chat. Does anyone else involved with this site use Facebook to communicate with others involved with the site via chat? If your site was mentioned in a private chat then it would not show up in a term based search.

I feel it would be of more concern that member to member chat was monitored than Facebook employing a pro-active crawler. A crawler would simply be one of many on the net and of little interest reletively speaking.

Another great question. Not unless Facebook owns Skype. I don't use Facebook for anything. Once in a while, I'll post something humorous, but that's been awhile.
