interesting could be a miss fire optical nerve due to your color blindness and actually could just be a blurry mess. remember your mind will try to make sense of what you see and just associate it with prior images or pictures you have seen..
also think of what happens when you close your eyes and cough real hard increased blood pressures maybe you have a small blood clot
i am no professional just a thought... just take what i say with a grain of salt

Finally, someone else that is having this happen to them! I've been trying to find information on this phenomenon,
particularly in connection with hauntings. I've been largely unsuccessful.
Originally posted by zyrna539I've been having this go on with me for a few months now. In my case the colors are red, yellow, green and occasionally blue. They're kind of hard to describe but they tend to be large blobs of color that shift and morph around, changing colors as they move. Have you ever experienced anything like what I'm describing?
My house is also haunted, and there may be some connection here. In another thread someone described perfectly what happens to me, though in this person's case it occured during "incubus attacks" which is certainly not what is occuring to me.
What is the nature of the haunting in your house?

Yeah, I wouldn't neccessarily blame the depression on the entity. I have depression as well, and have for years, but don't attribute it to the being in my house.
I actually would like to see that photograph.
But I mean, I'm not really sure if this entity is causing the hallucinations(for some reason it doesn't sound like the type that would) but I'm by no means an expert on the paranormal. In my case I'm 100% certain that my "friend" is causing my hallucinations, as they began around the time I started engaging her verbally, and generally being aware of her presence.

It may be a good idea to mention it next time you are at the doctor (or the optometrist) as well. Some brain tumors have similar effects (seeing colors, etc...) on people depending on where in the brain they are.
