Tax payers, I have a bit of a radical idea Id like to share...

So, coming home today from work (I have to work 2 part time jobs along with my full time job which is my own business just to pay bills every month) I had an idea. Actually, Im sorry back up to earlier in the day. My boss (who is a close and personal friend of mine) and I were discussing the Bush tax cuts that are now null and void (which are going to rape small business and their employees dry) which lead into some radical thinking and conversation. During said converation, out of my mouth popped "Wouldnt it be awesome to watch the Federal Government cringe when it milks the tax payer dry of ever possible cent it has? Remember what happend when the English tried that? We took their tea, chucked it in the ocean and told them to piss off!"

Well (fast forward to the drive home), in thinking about the conversation in retrospect, being as I am a small business owner who is...

A) absolutely SICKEND by the horrendous and disgusting use of tax payer dollars to bail out big business and corporations that SHOULD HAVE FAILED!!!

B) tired of working day in and day out until my head pounds to make just enough to pay my bills while illegal immigrants receive OUR tax dollars to cushion their bottoms, pay for their health care and pay for their anchor babies to live in this country ILLEGALLY

C) terrified for what our children and our childrens children and our childrens childrens children are going to be paying for because of a corrupt SOCIALIST system that sold us to the Chinese and the fact that we allowed it happen

Ladies and Gentlemen of AboveTopSecret whom I love and respect in all of the reading, information and out of the box thinking you bring, I propose this.

On a said date, every person who wants to take a stand and fight back right where it hurts the Bilderburg Group, The Illuminati, The Rothschilds, and the Federal Reserve...

STOP PAYING TAXES FOR ONE MONTH, OR SIX MONTHS, OR ONE YEAR EVEN!!! ONE ENTIRE YEAR!!! PUT YOURSELF ON A 1099 AND REFUSE TO PAY SOMETHING WE ARENT EVEN LEGALLY BOUND TO PAY FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

I for one am SICK of hearing how our tax dollars, THAT ARE TAKEN FROM OUR PAYCHECKS THAT WE WORK HARD FOR, are going to fund programs and bailouts that do absolutely NOTHING but put us further into debt and run the risk of collapsing our already dead horse economy.

GM SHOULD HAVE FAILED AND GONE UNDER!!! BANK OF AMERICA SHOULD HAVE FAILED AND GONE UNDER!!! WELLS FARGO SHOULD HAVE FAILED AND GONE UNDER!!! FREDDY MAC AND FANNIE MAY SHOULD HAVE FAILED AND GONE UNDER!!!

Well to that I say DONT TREAD ON ME!!! I am so angry and so sick of this countries tyrannical and SOCIALIST government that has been bought out and been controlled by a few elite who deem the transformation of a democracy into a socialist/communist state is the wave of the future.

I have been saying that for years. The IRS can go after a few hundred thousand for not paying taxes but there is nothing they could do to 50 million people. but then you also gotta look at the down side too Martial Law would be imminent in my opinion. But i also agree that would be a big wake up call to the Elite.

Employers have to report every employee name & earnings multiple times per year. All those people have multiple withholdings taken on their paycheck before the check is in their hands. Unless you are a contractor.

Uncle Sam made the rules, and has made certain they will continue to steal money from your pay as long as you earn wages. Few companies are going to welcome employee activity or requests that they deem would 'rock the boat' in any way.

So could you not just go to your HR, change your W-4 and claim say 35 dependents? That would stop the income tax maybe, but to be thorough one would need to find a way to stop Social Security and Medicare taxes (which of course are really just more stinking income taxes) and I know of not a way around that one.

And to add: no there isn't much the PTB could do to 50million people, but only roughly half of the members here will agree with your stance (I would be in that half!) and as big as ATS is, what it is not is 100million plus strong. You couldn't widely advertise the idea, and only the most way out there "conservative" talk radio guys might let you get past the call screener only to put you on the air and then make fun of you (I picture Glenn Beck in particular).

well it would honestly have to be something that is planned and worked on thru grassroots movements for the better part of a year or two. it would take a while to reach enough people, but honestly, i would love to partake in hurting these organizations. they have hurt us time and time and TIME AGAIN!!! and for some odd reason, this country has turned into a "consumerist nation" that unless peoples iphones and LCD TVs arent taken away, THEY DONT CARE!!!

this country needs a revolution. im not talking all nicey nicey, kissy kissy like so many people on this forum talk about. this country needs to go back to its founding days and take to the streets with guns, bats, firebombs and pure anger towards its tyrannical government and start tearing down the buildings that stole our money, that allow illegal immigration and that have basically come to rule us. we need to be heard in a VIOLENT way!!!

but i honestly think the last NON-VIOLENT resistance we can utilize is to no longer pay taxes and no longer fund the endless spending of our money by the federal government and federal reserve.

OP, i like your thinking ... star for you ... it is out of the box and i have often wondered what would happen if the tourniquet was finally released.

Although, i seriously doubt simply refusing to pay taxes would inflict a deep enough wound ... i've often wondered what demanding all payroll in Cash would do.
Forget the plastic, screw the paper checks ... you want my sweat and blood, pay me cash.
what we do with it, is our business.

however, given the current global economy ... i also think a time for the above has passed and that i find particularly scary.

i'm still hoping some young, creative, inventive American will produce a simple toothbrush that doesn't require plastics, international import or a loan to purchase it.
If only we can get back to the basics, the American dream is still well within reach.

i had another idea of everyone going into the bank one day in 2011 and withdrawing ALL of their monies. be it 100 dollars to their entire life savings. lets bankrupt the banks that got our money to continue screwing us in the end!!!

clever solution, texas thinker. maybe if a clever bookkeeper or accountant visits the thread they would have ideas for legal manipulation around SS and MC that they can share with us.

i've come to think of the dollars that pass through my hands as votes. if i get poor service or value from a purchase, i don't cast anymore 'dollar votes' with that particular business.

you go to your employer and tell them you would need to change your w-4 info and claim exempt on your w- 4's it's extremely easy no matter what they report or how often they report. everyone can do
