State of the Union to focus on a 'winning' economic future: (a.k.a Obama hits the EASY button)

Washington (CNN) -- President Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday night will be "all about America winning," one of his top advisers told CNN. Valerie Jarrett said the president will focus on "winning for the future and what we have to do to be competitive in this global marketplace."

Facing a divided Congress, a still-recovering economy, and critics who say he has failed to adequately focus on jobs in the past, the president will present what Jarrett described as a "framework" for moving forward.

Don't expect many specifics, however. Those will follow in three weeks when Obama releases his budget, Jarrett said. Then "you'll see a great degree of specificity of how we'll get the job done."

In the address, "the most important speech he gives every year," the president will focus on innovation, Jarrett said. "We're the country that's known for creativity and ingenuity and entrepreneurship. It will be about education, making sure that our children are going to be prepared for the jobs of tomorrow, that our innovators are going to be able to compete in this global marketplace. It will be about focusing on infrastructure and investing in our country so that we can get businesses to invest right here at home."

Apparently he and his buddies haven't figured it the problem out yet and they need our assistance-again (election of 2010). They need us to yell at them: Anyone can spend money, we want someone that can SAVE money.

It is the only thing that either side hasn't honestly attempted-with full force. Cutting Spending-Drastically.

He'll stand up there tonight and feed you the biggest plate of Male Bovine Feces you ever imagined. He is desperate and he must figure it is better to lie and deceive instead of telling the truth and dealing with the problems we have legitimately.

Go ahead, call me a Racist, Obama hater and even the dreaded (DARE I SAY) Republican. Enough with all of you too-no one is listening anymore. We're trying to force Real Change-starting with Fiscal Responsibility.

So, unless you hear anything less then something like a 10% cut across the board-Obama isn't serious enough about the problem(s) and it is only going to get worse.

Education, construction and infrastructure. Been there and did that-3 times with Stimulus $$$. The only sounding Republican like to get past tonight's speech.

America doesn't need anymore vague generalized motivational speeches, we need to know what exactly this administration is doing to A.) REDUCE GOVERNMENT SPENDING (what are these people not getting?!?)
and B.) WHAT ARE THEY DOING EXACTLY TO BOOST THE ECONOMY

...but I'm sure we'll hear a teleprompted high school football motivation speech that will probably include a cute joke about the Superbowl or something else equally naive, as if the economy and current affairs is a non issue

For who?

Definately not you and me, the common masses, but for the facists corporate elites. That's they way to go. Go get em, kiddo, while the rest of us slaves sweat, toil, and sleep on the streets and they enjoy the fruits of the comman man's labour.

It's a no brainer, with the facist elites surrounding him. Heck! Mayhaps I can write a better script for the SOTU. Afterall, it takes only lying through the teeth and forcing ALL to look at the debris caused by the inept TPTB throug colored lenses.

"Fiends, Americans and globalmen, lend me your ears. I came not to praise TPTB, but to bury the past ( yup, bury the evidences and wrong doings by the elites). Let us all look forward to the future, which is bright and shinning, as you all continue to pay taxes while the rich pay lesser so that they will spend more (on casino Wall Street, not manufacturing).

As we buy Chinese goods, made cheaply thanks to our technology freely given away by our friendly and kind hearted corporations whom had elevated the lives of the chinese people, take pride with each dollar you spend ( that is only enriching the corporations but certanily not the chinese masses) that you are doing a good cause, as you live in the streets today.

Let us not be choosy ( easy for you to say, being in the congress million dollar club) with the jobs, for a dollar earned is a dollar saved for your future and your generations future ( while the corporations spend more than dollars, trillions of taxpayer funds to protect their resources).

Today we may be poor and feed on broth ( while you and your kind dine on caviar and lobsters), but tommorow, as we grow in wealth ( we? you mean your masters?) we and our children will dine upon fine dinners and wine( if they had not starve to death first and any food leftover by the hideously selfish food supplies cartel), shared by our courageous fellow soldiers who will be returning soon from warzones, I promise you ( when? 100 years from now?)

Is this when Obama tells us he was unduly influenced by the far left and is now all of a sudden a moderate... and all of our mortgages will be paid, our freezers will be full, New Jobs are exploding everywhere, the unemployed have jobs waiting for them so line up, our grocery and energy rates wont get any higher and we're all gonna be just fine??

I want my goddam chicken in the pot ... and a stimulus check...

Wanna know how to create jobs? Take a bunch of secret government and military technology and open it up to new companies in America for the populous. Make the companies locate their HQs, design-teams, and manufacturing units in America. And Instead of giving bailouts to the mega-banks and a couple Senators' friend's companies, give the companies a grant and the technology to design useful hi-tech products for American and World consumers, and to not leak the technology to foreign companies. Instead focus on making new multinational American corporations.

- I am sure the Air Force could give up technology that would upgrade all of our airline's fleets to the best in the world. They could even work with NASA to set up corporations to design public space transportation shuttles that are capable of taking people around the world in 90mins. Travel and tourism would boom.

- What about designing missions to the Moon and Mars for useful minerals and rare earth elements? They could let America corporations build on what they started and create an entire new industry focused on finding ways to export resources and import life to other celestial bodies.

- They could share knowledge from their state-of-the-art satellites to vastly improve our entire planet’s communication systems and internet speeds.

Quit pumping money into so many secret spying/killing machines, bureaucratic crap for Senators, Big Brother, and start finding ways how to help educate and prosper your citizens. They have a bunch of information they purposely don’t teach us that could turn our country and economy around. But it is of National Security for them not to release it.. i.e. they don’t trust us enough and want our full faith in them…

IMHO the US is under a controlled demolition so it can be changed. Survival of our current way of life isnt really a factor I dont think. If it were, we wouldnt have been making movements toward a NAU ( or something like it) for a few decades now.

Unless you have a crystal ball, you don’t know what the POTUS will say this evening. It is my understanding that the bulk has been kept under wraps. I’ll be watching for sure. Heck I’ll even listen to Republican response. ( Though probably not the Tea Party response by the Palin wannabe Bachman) I suppose FOX News will be the only network to air hers around Beck re-runs during SOTUA.

I indicated he Plans on spending etc. Of course the Repubs are saying NO More etc.

It's a crap shoot for him. Depending how things play out before the hardcore election time-the results will be spun by his team etc. " I could have done it or fix it IF the Repubs would have voted to let me spend more. But since they didn't, you got what you got (and of course whatever is there will be made to look horrible and ruined since the 2010 elections).

He really has not other options.... unless he joins up with the Repubs.

If they want the nwo they will not be taking that route, as america cannot be what it was before, stealing everyones resource on earth.

He had two years of total Democrat control. Are things better? Hell no, they are 10x worse. He didn't end the patriot act or the Iraq/Afghan wars, he quadrupled the deficit, has the Dems so deep in bed with unions and corps they'll never get out, passed a 1000+ page supposed healthcare bill nobody seems to have read.

BUT the few who actually vote in the US have short term memory and 90% of the mass media is on Obama's side so I don't doubt he'll get re-elected.

I read that member's will have "date's" like a repulican paired with a democrat...Meaning that the floor will no be split like it has for the past 200+ year's with republican on ones side and democrat's on the other...it's almost like they want it even so that when obama make's his pointless State of the union address where he will say eveything is ok just keep your head in the sand...when all the democrats stand up and applaud it wont look one sided cause they will be all mixed in together...

The debate has been framed falsely

(Government can stimulate jobs - let us spend more)
vs.
(Private sector creates jobs...Just give us tax breaks and less rules)

The middle ground is Government focusing on areas that FACILITATE the private sector succeeding, competing and creating jobs.

Spend...
Human capital - Education, education, education
Infrastructure - Roads/shipping/commuting and technology
Innovation - government loans and grants for innovative private sector start-ups and companies that are pushing the envelope.
Reforming and simplifying the Tax Code - Both eliminating the huge amount of loopholes while lowering taxes across the board.

These are all things that other countries are doing very well right now or have taken the lead while we are in a stall.

We need to get back in the game...and quick.

Cut spending...
Everywhere else we can.

These are not left/right issues...these are not government takeovers...this is government as it should be...creating fertile ground for American Capitalism and Innovation.

BUT what you will see is spin and politicization of all of it so it conveniently fits into the left/right paradigm.

HCR was long term planning...and a bitter pill for most to swallow in a crisis. That is done and the Pres. has always been a moderate pragmatist...and what we will see now post HCR is him focusing on issues that both the left and the right should support absent the rhetorical nonsense.

IMO if the goal was to" fix" the economy he would have made moves to do so within the time he has already been president. He's done a great job with change though.. he has changed the economy and is changing the country.. bad for us, good for those who benefit from bail outs and etc.
